  @teenZseyer , if your occupation as an engineer is in the SOL then you have a chance to apply for PR visa, depende nlang kung yung engineering degree mo is related to your work experience and at least 3-5 years of experience of that related work experience then you have a chance. First thing to do is to take the IELTS exam you need at least a band score of 6 in each component of IELTS pero kung naghahabol ka ng points using your IELTS score you need to score 7 or 8. Requirement din kse ng Engineers Australia yung IELTS for your CDR. Check mo site ng DIAC for further info and engineers australia.

  02/06/2012 - EA received my CDR
  04/17/2012 - Received Favorable Letter from EA
  04/21/2012 - IELTS exam retake at IDP (L-8, R-6, W-6.5, S-6)
  07/03/2012 - Applied online for SA Statesponsorship
  08/13/2012 - SA SS approved
  08/16/2012 - Received an invitation in skill select
  09/11/2012 - Lodge a visa subclass 190
  09/13/2012 - Acknowledgement Receipt & Medicals Requested
  09/19/2012 - Medicals Done
  12/11/2012 - Medicals Finalised
  12/14/2012 - Visa Grant
  03/18/2013 - Flight to Adelaide
  04/22/2013 - Got my first Job

  Hello po, Gusto namin ng husband ko mag apply po sa Australia. May questions po pla ako.
  
  1. Dito po kami naka based sa Singapore lahat po ng certified true copy pwede po sa pinas pa notarized or dapat po sa Singapore since dito po kami nakatira?
  
  2. Ung husband ko po ung Primary ako po ay dependent nya ano po ang mga documents needed ko po.. Same lng din po ng sa knya...
  Based po sa ACS Application Guidelines eto po ung mga kelangan..
  
  a. Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport
  b. Certified True Copy of Academic Qualification (Diploma)
  c. Certified True Copy of Academic Transcript
  d. Certified True Copies of Detailed Employment References
  
  3. Skillselect need muna po ba namin mg take up ng IELTS bago po kami mgsubmit...

  Question 2 po kasi pag primary po diba need ung mga documents na nilista ko sa taas kelangan un, Ako po ba need ko rin ba mag submit ng detailed COE kahit dependent lang at ung work ko hindi pasok sa SOL so hindi rin pasok sa partner skill Sana maayos namin ung document namin bago July.

  Reply to @huggybear: kung secondary applicant ka at hindi ka nmn magclaim ng partner points, hindi mo na rin kailangn mag IELTS. Ang kailngn mo lng ung basic (passport, bc, photo, diploma, tor at ung iba nag provide ng cert of english as medium of instruction)

  @huggy - nakapass na ba sya sa ACS? I'm asking because if not yet, then I doubtn makaabot before jul1. Dhil medyo seversl weeks ang ACS.
  Otherwise, kung meron n lht (skill assessed, ielts, othr docs) then abot yan.. Of course given n meron kying 65pts..

  @LokiJr: Sakto nman sya eh khit hindi ako kasali sa partner skills. Kaso ano ba need points ng Australia on July 1 2012? mag taas ba sila ng points system? Thanks!

  @huggybear - sa new rule na SKillSelect, magkakaroon ng ranking lahat ng may kaparehong nominated occupation... kung sino ang pinaka mataas.. un ang mainvite for visa application..
  
  Also, take note na may occupation ceiling na tinatawag... pag na reached na ung ceiling, wala na silang invite sa occupation na un.. so double check nyo rin ang ceiling ng occupation ng mister mo.
  
  So mas mataas ang total points, mas malaki ang chance..

  ^ occupation ceiling is refreshed after every EoI selection kaya apply lang nang apply...kung hindi man kayo palarin ngayon nasa database pa rin naman ang application nyo at posibleng sa susunod kayo ang pipiliin naman
