@palducente Yes. May effect ba yun kaya negative yung assessment sakin?

Nagpa assess kasi ako year 2011 for membership. I don't have plans of migrating that time. And i didnt try to make an appeal. So i took the Business Law exam and unfortunately I failed. Until nung last year I decided to migrate na. Kung try ko kaya mag appeal at humingi ako sa school ko ng additional documents. I-coconsider kaya nila?

@nedz I am actually still waiting for my assessment result myself. Sana nga makalusot. Ang ginawa ko lang so far is i map out ang mga topics na nasa website nila with the topics in my syllabus.

I have read somewhere on this forum na ang iba they appeal by submitting the syllabus again and highlighting the subjects that relate to the topics na meron sila sa kanilang website. maybe worth a try...

@palducente kelan ka nagsubmit? Yung sakin matagal. Umabot ng 15 days. Parang pinagbasehan nila yung membership assessment ko last 2011. Actually, yung Business Law nila pareho lang din sa Pinas. Ewan ko bakit di nila iconsider yung syllabus ko. Di kaya dahil one page lang yung syllabus na inissue sakin ng school ko? Hehehe Hay grabe na tong pinagdadaanan ko para lang makarating ng Australia. Butas na bulsa ko kakabayad sa exam. Anyways, try ko mag appeal. Kung rejected pa rin try ko magpa assess sa ICAA or IPA. Laban para sa ekonomiya lol

@nedz kaka re-send ko lang ng documents ko last Monday. Binalik kasi sa akin kasi ang certified true copy na stamp at pirma ay nilagay ng atty. sa likod ng document.

1 page lang ang syllabus mo? sa akin parang umabot ng 120 pages for all the major subjects in acctg kasama na ang finance, economics at business mathematics. hehehe

@palducente One page lang yung para sa Business Law. Siguro mga nasa less than 50pages lang lahat lahat. Feeling ko baka dahil dun kaya di nila inacknowledge business law ko.

Hi Guys! Newbie here.

I am yet to take IELTS pero prinepare ko na rin in advanced ung mga ilang docs for CPAA accreditation. Ask ko lang, paano kayo nag-map ng subjects? Like for example, the subject is quantitative methods, di ba ung mga topics na andun is natackle sya from different subjects sa school, like statistics, project management, management advisory services etc. So, iba ibang topics from different subjects ang nakaplot/map sa Quantitative methods? How many days ang gap ng dalawa? natanggap ko na kasi ang qualifications assessment ko today and happy to say it is positive pero still waiting for the skilled employment.

@palducente Congrats Bro sa positive assessment! Sa amin umabot pa ng almost 4 mos. pero I think mas mabilis na ang process ngayon ni CPAA compared before. Kaya baka sumunod na din agad ung results mo nagfollow-up ka na ba sa kanila bro?

Hi All! Newbie here. Anyone who's kind enough to brief me on what should be the step by step procedure for Accountant. I noticed that there are some discussion about CPAA etc.. Hence, I thought maybe there are additional steps that needs to be done in our profession.

Just started working in Dubai, if it's possible how much money should I have if I'm decided migrating to Australia. Do they credit our license? Sorry dami ko pong tanong.

Halou... nabasa ko lang sa http://www.border.gov.au na 70 points na ang point score for Accountants? Hindi ko talaga siya maintindihan masyado. ibig bang sabihin nito eh wala na kaming chance na 60/65 points ma invite? salamat ng marami.

Saan mo nabasa? wala naman akong nabasa na ganun... ang pinag tataka ko lang ay bakit 20 lang na invite last September round. Pati mga 70 points na naglodge after 6 August hindi na invite... Ano kaya reason nun... :-(

Ang understanding ko ang cut-off for the september round ay those whose points sa eoi nila is 70pts as of 6 Aug.

Ibig sbhn yung mga may eoi na minimum na 70 points and above lang at nakapaglodge as at 6 aug ang may chance na maka receive ng invite nung sept. Rounds..

tama ka cpa_oct2011. Pero bakit kaya 20 lang ang na invite? if you check the occupation ceiling, from 420 last month, 440 sa September. Bakit kaya ganun? Wala naman clang na mention na pagbabago sa pro rata ng accountant.

It might only follows na 20 lang ang may 70 points and above... at ang main reason is pagtaas ng cut-off for the invitation..Yun ang sa tiningin ko... And besides people have moved to external audit na, kaya if you will see naubos na ang 1000 slots as of sept. wc is unusual kasi dti ndi nmn dw nauubos ang auditor e..

@jeriellejade That is just the result and not the required points to get invited for accountant. Ang meaning lang niyan ay ang pinakahuli na nakatanggap ng invitation from accountant ay with a 70 points and he/she have submitted his EOI on 6 August.

Ang malaking question talaga ay bakit 20 lang ang inissue na invitation sa accountant. This is the reason na only people with 70 points as of Aug 6 lang ang na imbita. If they would have invited to the normal pro rata basis then malamang pati mga 65 points noong July ay naimbita na rin.

@cpa_oct2011 not sure pero may kakilala ako na 70 points submitted around 18August na di rin naka tanggap ng invitation... not really sure what is going on... ang DIBP lang talaga may alam kung ano nangyayari sa accountant group...

@palducente wahhh!! sana nga sana nga applicable lang nung Sept. invite ung 70 points kasi nakakakaba na at nakakapanlumo pati na isipin na need ulet take ng PTE. sa tingin niyo practical na mag enroll ulet ng PTE at makipag sapalaran ng mas mataas an score or hintay hintay lang muna sa October? salamat ha.

@palducente yes. Your friend will not receive an invite dahil di sya pumasok sa cut-off date ng dibp which is august 6 (against aug.18)..

The question is why dibp raised the cut-off points e yun ang di natin masasagot... Lets just hope for the best in the coming invitation since binalik sya ulit sa 2x a month.

@cpa_oct2011 I was under the impression that the cut off dates and points is based on the last invited person and not the other way around.

in anyway, hintay hintay na lang, huwag ng mag isip ng kung ano ano pa.... hehehe
