good day po. im still newbie here at newbie din po sa pagiging engineer. kakapasa lang po nitong october dito sa pilipinas (ECE). wala pa po akong experience pero punta na po ako sa sydney sa december. (dependent visa po) pwede po makahingi ng advice kung pano makakahanp ng work ang wala pang kahit anong experience? mejo kinakabahan po kasi akong wala akong makuhang work. thanks po.

Regarding work, try to search for Engineering graduate programs and apply. Try mo sa seek.com. Also try to have your credentials assessed as an engineer equivalent here in Au.

Kung hindi ka palarin sa engineering job, marami nman ibang job n pwedeng pasukan. Apply lng ng apply hangang makuha mo job n gusto mo.

Ang tagal ko na nagaantay ng invitation for subclass 190 sa NSW pero till now wala pa din result? Bakit kaya antagal ng process? So I am now aiming for subclass 189, again I have to take exam for additional points.
Anyone here have the same situation?

i believe they do kai usctc sd ko (IE)

and i also know a few na na grant na nga taga usctc sd ECE though.

Hi! I'm a newbie lang, ask ko lng san ako magpapaasses if Industrial Eng'g graduate ako, pero yung work experience ko is in IT, though as a QA naman. TIA

if sa EA kapo magpa assess as an IE they will validate ur experience according to IE practices, concepts and methologies. if its not incoporated sa tasks/work respnsbilities mo i feel they wont credit it. maybe i map molng ung paging QA mo sa IT field into IE core concepts kc malawak nman field ng IE kahit quality management covered nman satin. careful lang sa details

Ung husband ko po ay licensed mechanical engineer at nag wowork cya sa paint company sa mid east, for the last 8years ang post title nya ay multicolor technician pero ung job task naman nya ay nag fall sa production/plant engineer, pede po ba cya mka apply ng production/plant engineer? or baka sa trades lang cya qualified dahil sa kanyang post title.

I remember nung nagpa-assess ako sa EA. Ang job title ko na pinasa eh mechanical section head. Kahit na leadman lang ako sa mechanical. parang leadman lang somewhere else ehehe kahit lisensyado din akong ME.

Para sure ang asawa mo, ilagay na lang nya sa jd title nya ay Mechanical Engr. Kahit na pa multicolor technician tlga ang tawag sa kanya sa work. Tutal engr naman sya in the 1st place.

if he can get a salary cert stating a position of plant engineer then good. but if ung papers nia from work says technician then might as well define kung ano andun. u can request nmn a detailed breakdown of his tasks./responsbilities then pa sign nia sa manager nia lets say jst to emphasize na ung tasks nia is engineering related and not to be tagged as a technical work. then ensure nia lg sa CDR nia that will be submitted to EA na ung career episodes nia will detail d task that incorporated mech engg principles and concepts to further support his claim na related nga ung job nia sa profession ng mechanical engineer.

ung iba nga umabot ng almost 4months before . mas mabilis nga ngaun processing ng EA cmpared to before..

@garfield much better if you'll just state what his position title is. EA doesn't assess naman ung job title lang e. para san pa ung CDR if hanggang job title lang sila mag-aasses. as long as you can define his task/responsibility and it matches the ANZSCO and EA description, then you don't have to worry much

it'll all boils down on how well written your CDR is. you may ask for samples here para may idea kayo kung ano ba dapat makita sa CDR

They never call. They dont have time to do that. CDR is just formality for them. They know that's only for migration purposes. As long as everything that you give them is sufficient.

Naaalala ko pa after ko magpasa, hiningan pa nila ako ng business card from my references. Akala ko tatawagan nila dahil siguro may nabasa silang unbelievable sa pinasa ko. But hindi naman.

Tingin mo ba if you put the techician word sa papers mo eventhough pang engr ang jd mo and more kung ang inonominate mong occupation eh mechanical engr, hindi ba mapapaisip ang c.o nun?

@IslanderndCity out of budget consideration. I had read EA guidelines naman na between 9-12 weeks maximum ang release ng results nila. Yes, I had read this fast track payment system but I could still wait until end of the year or earlier. Thanks!

Some took 5 days. based on my experience kasi before, tagal talaga ng EA. there maybe "unknown" opportunities lost while waiting sa EA. kaYA naisip ko, swerte ngayon, kasi may fast-track na

@IslanderndCity I just checked with my agent that the fast track service can and only be availed during the post application and not after the assessment was submitted. This means even if you wanted to fast track and avail the service while it is acknowledged received by EA, all you have to do is wait. I was informed by my agent that processing takes 16 weeks! - no choice now but to wait and pray it is earlier

maybe it wud stil boil down to what 'field' you will be working. .

ang inadvise lg sakin ng mga frends ko is during interviews dpat formal tlaga..kahit nga nka skype interview ako bfore nkakailang mag formal sa madaling araw

and yes its costly dw dun..maybe its safe na u prepare nlng
