@C_hiLL ok... sabihin ko na nga lang. kasi may ongoing PR application din ako sa ibang bansa (since Nov 2015). eh ung bansa na to, kelangan i-submit ung passport mo sa embassy nila. if may makikita silang AU permanent resident visa na sa passport ko, takot ko lang na i-reject nila ung application ko kasi may PR na sa Australia.

@prcand ah ongoing application, kung nadeclare niyo during that time na wala pa eh wala naman problema dun pero kung ngayun pa lang po. Ingat na lang. I don't mean na pakabahin kayo pero yung passport din natin has a chip that once scanned eh baka alam na nila details din about you.

@rohani99 grabe ang mahal! Maswerte na siguro kami at mababa pa diyan naabutan namin. If I could really have time eh DIY ko talaga but sunod sunod ang blessing, kasal, anak kaya I would say that it was worth it naman dahil nakuha nadin ang inaasam asam. On to the next chapter na tayo

oo nga eh... kasi ung timeline is:

Nov 2015 -> country C PR application sent (flow 1)
Jan 2016 -> Australia ITA and application sent (flow 2)
March 2016 -> Australia PR grant (flow 3)
April 2016 -> Australia initial entry (flow 4)
xxxxx 2016 -> country C PR application result (flow 5)

So ang concern ko is between flow 4 and flow 5. pag may tatak na passport ko for Australia PR, anong iisipin ni country C. but in all honesty, wala naman akong pending application for Australia PR nung sinubmit ko ung application kay country C. just playing safe lang

(may nakalimutan ba ko?)

Kung isa lang applicant at magaling sa english, nasa 160k (AUD 4500 @ PhP35) lang abutin ang gastos.

BTW guys, since new immigrants keo make sure that your banks is aware of that. kasi as far as I know walang bank maintanence fee for the first year..sayang naman ang 5aud per month Coffee at cookies n din yan eh..

@prcand depends sa banks. Accordingly NAB walang maintaining balance but not sure wala kasi akong NAB account.

Banks like ANZ,CBA, westpac dapat merong amount of atleast 2k per month pumapasok otherwise they deduct 5aud for account keeping fees. Thats why it pays to look around send some emails if u have questions.

@prcand Ay correct pala not maintaining balance but dapat meron pera n around 2k per month pumapasok sa account. Ok lng n pumasok sweldo mo lets say 4k in that month tapos itransfer mo sa savings or sa ibang banks thats fine.

wag lng like 1k lng pumasok sa account in that month then expect they will deduct 5aud in that month for account keeping fees.

Salamat @sunflower at @tooties wala talagang bank na ayos lang walang account activity? Or alternatively, since ang rule lang naman ay 2k deposit per month, what if 2 accounts buksan mo tapos transfer lang between accounts?

Like I mentioned, there are NO monthly fees in NAB. So kahit sitting pretty lang yung money mo dun for a long time, okay lang. Madadagdagan lang siya nang madadagdagan.

@prcand NAB walang account keeping fees.

if sa ibang bank meron. Hindi k n try yung suggestion m n mag transfer between accounts. I find it to inconvenient kasi so isang bank ako nagtratransact which is with CBA. Meron akong 1 Transaction account n link sa debit card k for my everyday expenses dito din debited salary ko. then 2 savings account 1 for emergency money and the other for utilities kasi quarterly ang bayad dito so every pay check k nagseset aside n ako an amount para di ako mabigla after 3 months.

Hassle masyado for me if mag apply p ako ibang account sa ibang bank BUT kanya2x preference n yan. You could try yung idea mo to see if it works though.

@tooties try ko muna NAB. initial entry muna kasi ako at di pa big move. so dapat talaga dun ako sa bank na ok lang walang maintenance activity, else bawas lang sila ng bawas. pag hindi pwede sa NAB, then subukan ko to explore ung nabanggit na workaround.

Hehe. Wala ring hassle sa pag-open ng account sa NAB. You can open an account online and then you can already transfer money (I did it through BPI) even while you're still overseas.

Yung NAB Classic Banking Account, basically deposit account lang siya. So pag iniwan mo yung money mo sa account, it just stays the same. NAB iSaver yung nag-eearn ng interest. No monthly fees, mag-eearn lang siya nang mag-eearn.

Nag-open ako ng Classic Banking Account tapos naka-link doon yung NAB iSaver account ko. Pero yung money na dineposit ko ay nandun lang lahat sa iSaver. Di ko lang kasi sure kung pwede kang mag-open ng NAB iSaver account lang agad so dalawa na inopen ko.

Yes, as soon as nagsend na sila ng email with your account number, pwedeng-pwede ka na mag-send ng funds. Take note also na makikita mo lang yung laman ng account mo if nag-sign up ka for online banking when you registered.

@engineer20 or... Wag muna talaga pa-terminate until mag end and contract, kaka renew ko lang kasi 6 months ago. Medyo masakit ang early termination fee LOL
