  Hello! Here are some suggestions that I could think of at the top of my head:
  
  1. Queen Street Mall, Brisbane CBD
  Best place to shop until you drop, right in the heart of the busy city.
  
  2. South Bank Parklands
  Beautiful parklands where you can find a manmade beach, the Wheel of Brisbane (lovely sight at nighttime), the Queensland Conservatorium, and restaurants.
  
  3. Eat Street Markets
  Markets open from Friday to Sunday that has different food stalls.
  
  4. River Cruising
  Brisbane offers a free cruise along the Brisbane River with the City Hopper.
  
  5. Story Bridge
  This is the Brisbane counterpart of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You can climb the top if you're feeling adventurous!

  Spend a day (or two) in brisbane it was enough (make a short trip to mt cootha, brisbane southbank, queens st for malls, story bridge). I will spend more time in Goldcoast atleast 2 days (40 mins from brisbane) and another day or two in Sunshine Coast (1-1.5 hrs to Brisbane). Visit mooloolaba beach, noosa heads, and redcliffe jetty/beegees way.
