i went to idp sydney last week to enquire about this new sublcass. i was told that svp was already abolished thus all qualifications (cert, diploma, advance diploma, bachelor, and higher) would require financial documents (bank certificate & bank statement) for the application. before, bachelor and higher qualifications would only need a statutory declaration of financial capacity. i was also told it's more strict this time and the questions on the application form took them an hour to completely answer (before, done in 10 mins!).

@nonononoway as stated in border.gov.au: The annual income option requires a student to provide evidence of personal annual income of at least AUD 60,000 (which obviously is not 1M PHP). For students accompanied by family members, the requirement is at least AUD 70,000. The income demonstrated must be the personal income of your spouse (who is not coming with you) or parents. Where both of your parents are working, their combined income can be considered for this requirement. Evidence must be in the form of official government documents such as tax assessments. Evidence in the form of bank statements or information directly from an employer is not acceptable.

***By this statement, I think this option is good for those whose 12-month living cost, tuition, and airfare sum up to more than AUD 60,000/AUD 70,000

@redvelvet, @SiRen1991 submitted financial declaration lang and got approved just today under Subclass 500. she applied on july 1, so 12 days lang ang bilis! congrats @SiRen1991

@leelou thanks talaga and yes, I only submitted a scanned copy of the notarized financial declaration. I didn't need to show any financial documents nga e but I still uploaded it just in case. The Subclass 500 application allows students to submit with fewer requirements depende sa uni enrolled in and the country of residence. To be sure, just check the documentary checklist sa DIBP page. Dun malalaman if needed pa ang financial documents

Iba iba kasi requirements depende sa Uni enrolled in + the country of passport. Just type in the Cricos code or Uni name on the documentary checklist and lalabas if kailangan pa ng financial docs

ang problema ko nga pati bank statement pinapasubmit sakin.. at ang gusto ng agent ko galing sa bank mismo and my pirma ng bank rep . . ang problema ko is ayaw pa nila ilodge yung papers ko kahit sa tingin ko eh nasatisfy ko na yung requirements..
kaya cno po ba dto nkapag submit na ng financial docs? bka pwede mkatulong samin..

Tanong ko lang, sa ssvf ba kailangan pa rin nung past 3 months na bank statement na hindi bawas? Sponsor ko kasi tita ko yung bank account niya merong approximately USD$26,000 tapos a week before ako nag lodge dinagdagan niya bale USD$64,000 na yung current balance nun nung nilodge ko visa ko. Kasi ang alam ko sa lumang patakaran nila yung lowest balance sa bank statement ang titignan diba? Ganun pa rin ba hanggang ngayon?

@lyn0422 need talaga yang bank statement. Mabusisi sila sa financial capacity mo. Na deny na ako dahil jan, di ako nakapag submit ng enough documents regarding sa financial capacity ko. Follow your agent

@redvelvet About your question. wla po nirerequire ang university na financial documents basta you can pay your tuition for 1 term w/ oshc. Ang need po ng financial requirement aka show money is kapag naglodge na po kayo ng visa.

Hi guys I am just new here and sorry to give you unpleasant news and the reason I joined here. My student visa refused this morning after I lodged it last 21 July by myself which is also part of the reason it was refused so for those who will be lodging their visa application be sure to get an agent and the next reason was unable to access the funds and it was stated that he will be my main sponsor for everything. Honestly I don't know how to start now. My body is shaking and I feel blank. Anyone who will suggest me an agent. Thanks so much
