@rachmau di pa namin talaga napagdecidan pero last week of June 2017 ang initial entry date namin. Di pa nga din kami nakapag decide kung saang state kami pupunta e. Sa Sydney kami maraming kakilala and nakapunta na pero may mga ibang nagsasabi na mas maganda sa iba (Melbourne, Adelaide) lalo na for family. Pero siguro priority kung san makakuha ng work. May tips ba kayo? Oops off-topic eto. May section naman siguro dito sa forum about sa ganitong topic no? Hanapin ko rin. hehe

Melbourne is cheaper, livelier, more laid back than Sydney, walang gaanong traffic since wider ang lanes ng roads, with trams and buses, plus freedom and choices at your own liking. Suitable for new migrants and families. Kalaban mo lang yung below 7 degree cold weather during winter and 40+ degree heat during summers. Pero mas magaganda beaches sa Sydney, kaso super traffic. Sa Brisbane naman, well, parang Melbourne na medyo probinsya pero matraffic.

When a valid application is commenced, an applicant is sent an acknowledgment letter at the very beginning. This acknowledgement contains contact information for the office where the application is being processed.

We aim to process 75 percent of applications within the service standards listed on our webpage

- whether you have provided all necessary supporting documents when you lodge your application.
- how well and how promptly you respond to any requests for additional information.
- how long it takes to complete any required checks on information you have provided to support your application.
- how long it takes to receive additional information required from areas outside the department, particularly in relation to health character and national security.
- how many places are available in the migration programme.

This is why some applications can be decided faster than others and why we sometimes take longer than the service standards listed.

If you received the acknowledgment letter when you submitted your application, you can continue to wait and you will be contacted as soon as a decision can be made.

@rachmau kadalasan kasi sa mga nakakausap ko, mas gusto nila sa iba (hindi Sydney) kasi nga masyadong busy na dun as pointed out by @extrastrongbeer . pero ang job opportunities daw mas madami talaga sa Sydney lalo na for IT and the like. Naisip ko naman, sa status ngayon ang importante ay makahanap muna ng work. Then, pag may AU working experience na, mas madali na lumipat in case na hindi masyadong gusto sa pinagsstayan.

Hirap din kasi ng dilemma, pag mas madaming job opportunity kadalasan siyempre mas madaming tao, mas traffic, mas fast-paced ang buhay. Pero siguro naman better pa rin compared sa manila. hehe. Share share na lang din ng knowledge and experiences dito.

Nga pala bro/pre ako. hehe

@thisisme1 yes bro you are correct. If just trying to build a career pa lang, big cities are the places to go. However, generally speaking, Australians tend to move out of big cities as they grow old, or as their families grow, probably to avoid the hassles of big cities like overpopulation, traffic, noise and violence and high property taxes that come along. Like in Queensland, patok ang mga retirement cities sa kanila like Toowoomba and Sunshine Coast for retirees and families wanting seclusion and just enjoy the nature and ocean life. Although may maliliit din namang CBDs dun.

Wait kamfor the approval 2-3 days then pagapproved uncan pay using your creditcard.. After paying send mo na ung fingerprint impressions niyo. Then call them kung natanggap na nila kasi medyo mabagal sila pag walang followup..

bro @azn, my previous company did not provide a comprehensive employment certificate detailing my job functions. What I did was I created a statutory declaration with my job description as a systems analyst, then had it signed by my former manager. then had it notarized. tailor fit mo lang kung ano ang nakadescribe na job description sa Anszcosearch for ICT Systems Analyst position. usap na lang kayo ng supervisor or manager mo sa ganitong setup.
