got my skills assessment result from vetassess. its negative. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit kasi malinaw naman yung job scope/description sa certificate of employment ko --> assist in the review of the system of internal control of the company tapos sabi nung reviewer is not highly relevant daw because

"the tasks undertaken are not highly relevant to the ANZSCO tasks

for the nominated occupation"

Ang masaklap, wala namang contact saken yung assessor, kahit email for clarifications or asked for additional documents. notification lang from vetassess na meron ng result yung skill assessment ko and yun nga negative. hindi ko maintindihan kasi parang hindi naman binasa yung documents ko.

I feel your frustration. I had the same experience with CAANZ when they assessed my two job posts as "not suitable". Similar to your case, they didn't contact my agent for any clarification and did not even request for further documents, so we filed an appeal to obligate them to revisit my case, which costs around 170AUD. Naibigay na namin halos lahat, detailed JDs, job offers, etc. So in my appeal, I submitted na lang an affidavit written by my immediate superiors where all my tasks are listed. Up to now wala pa balita, pero last week lang naman kami nakapagpasa.

If you really want to pursue this path, I suggest prepare documents that would further help your claim. Most likely kasi they'll tell you that the decision is final, so they won't look into your case again unless you pay them, which is via appeal nga.

@demureguy hi, internal audit ba talaga yung experience mo? Kasi based dun sa reply nila, parang intindi ko, more of external audit yung nasa JD mo. Tsaka tingin ko lang based dun sa nilagay mo na portion ng JD mo, very general kasi that you assist in the review of the internal control syatem if the company. I highly suggest that you give them a more detailed JD kung ano talaga ginagawa mo. Initially, my external audit experience was also not considered by CPAA as relevent to Accountant which is my nominated occupation. So i drafted my JD based on the ABS' JD of Accountant. Tignan mo lang mga key words dun. Wag mo kopyahin word for word. Ok naman ang result ng appeal ko, niconsider naman nila. Yun nga lang, bayad ulit for the appeal and another waiting time.

@demureguy agree with @pink Try mo i-update ang JD mo. Apart from financial audits, include descriptions for operational audits, governance, risk assessment, compliance, etc.

@DFVille hi po, nakareceive ako last Friday invitation from NSW. Kelan po DOE mo? Hintay hintay lang po, darating din yan. Sana mag bulk invite si NSW soon. Or much better po siguro if you will increase your points by getting 20 points sa english test. 🙂
