Need help! A CO was allocated to me and after her assessment, I realized na nagkamali ako ng claim for Australia Study Requirement nung nagsubmit ako ng EOI. Nagclaim ako ng 5 points as I understand from my ACS assessment eh "Your Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Adamson University completed March 2006 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing.", which I think eh mali na nagclaim ako ng points.

So ang naging points ko after assessment ni CO is 60 pts. lang, since wala akong Australian Study. Nagsubmit ako ng Form 1023 for notification of incorrect answer. Right now ang status ng application ko eh "Assessment in Progress". I am torn kung iwiwithdraw ko yung application before mag decide si CO, or intayin ko ang advise ni CO? Kapag ba winidraw ko yung application eh may marerefund ako?

Pasok pa din naman yung 60 points for visa 189, kaya lang may na-quote si CO from their regulation:
"The applicant’s score, when assessed in relation to the visa under Subdivision B of
Division 3 of Part 2 of the Act, is not less than the score stated in the invitation to apply
for the visa."

May gut feel ako na madedeny yung application namin at tempted na rin ako i-withdraw yung application. Kaya lang at the back of my mind naisip ko na sayang yung effort at mga nagastos na. Kung magrere-apply ako back to square one ako since 2-3 years ago na yung mga sinubmit ko na documents(na-preggy din kasi ako kaya na-pending yung medical ko.)

Hello @imketket , first of all I'm sorry to hear your story. We know we wanted to be granted and move to Aus as smoothly as possible. However, here are my points:

1. Would you know/aware by the time you created your EOI - your job is not yet pro-rated? We have the same job code, and it took me 4months to be invited since pro-rata yung occupation natin and minimum of 65 points dapat.
2. Let's hope for the best, don't withdraw yet your application. If you do, it's a lose-lose situation already. If you have submitted Form 1023 already and explained to CO clearly, they might consider it.

But, not to discourage you, false claims in EOI may be resulted in visa denial

@imketket wag mawalan ng pag asa. tama si @SAP_Melaka na baka during the time na invitations of EOI, nasa 60 points lang ang minimum points. that is around 12-Aug-2015 ...

Wag mo iwithdraw... just wait for the result. otherwise, talagang magstart ka from scratch.. God Bless to you!

@SAP_Melaka Thank you sa inputs! I'm just thinking kase kung iwiwidraw ko ba yung application ko eh may marerefund ako? At least kung may marefund ako eh okay na din, naibalik lang yung money namin from the lodgement, kesa ma-deny ni CO tapos wala pang refund(dobleng saklap nun..huhuhu)..

I know naman na unpredictable ang decision ng CO, and it's a case to case basis rin. I've read other threads na nag-advise ni CO yung applicant to withdraw and he got a refund, yung iba naman waley na talaga. I'm really praying for the best na lang talaga..

@greatsoul tama 60 points ang minimum at that time.. Ngayon ba ilan na? Tagal na kasi nung application ko kaya hindi na rin ko updated..

@imketket sorry sa situation mo. sad to say malabo ang refund kung iwiwithdraw mo ang application mo at this stage.

paano ba ang naging email CO sa iyo? usual kasi na nangyayari pag may overclaim na nagiging visa grant pa rin ay pag nagemail ang CO asking for permission to revise yung claimed points mo sa EOI.

English: Competent 0 points
Overseas employment 8yrs in past 10yrs 15 points
Education Qualification 15 points
Total points awarded 60 points

As you were invited with a score of 65 points you do not appear to meet regulation
189.214(1) which states:

The applicant’s score, when assessed in relation to the visa under Subdivision B of

Hindi naman sya nanghingi ng permission to revise yung claimed points ko sa EOI.. I'm hoping may magrespond ng ganun..Hehe. Yung sa pag-claim lang naman ng Australian Study Requirement ako sumablay, the rest ng docs including medicals are okay.

@imketket overclaim ka nga sa points. ang medyo di nagpaganda sa status mo ay pro-rated ang nominated occupation mo. still hope for the best but pethe worst. goodluck!

@Xiaomau82 @czaaaps thanks guys! I'm working with my direct manager on a statutory declaration that indicates my specifics contributions related to the ANZSCO file. As a sup, I was also doing a bunch of admin/leadership tasks but I'll prioritize my analyst jobs instead.

I think no invitation yet for Sept. EOIs. (We are not aware yet of the Mar. 1 result). Hopefully, the trend gap has changed.

@jayet15 Yup, I got invited.. submitted my EOI last Oct. w/ 65 points then last Jan. 3, I increased my points into 70 due to work experience.. then last Jan. 3 I got invited

@jayet15, I just submitted my Eoi today. i have 65pts + 5 for state sponsorship. Do you think i'll get invited within a month? I was thinking magretake na lang ng englist test so pwede na ako 189.

@fedsquare I received an invitation for NSW nomination (190) last Feb 9, although I let that expire na and waited for 189 ITA. If you're financially able naman, better to retake PTE and aim for Superior points para jump to 75pts. For sure makakakuha ka na niyan ng invite pag ganun.

Thanks sa advice @czaaaps. That's what i was thinking too. Pero medyo pagod na kkatake ng english tests, i had 2 na. 1st i took ielts and i got band 7, i took the pte just yesterday and i got the equivalent of band 7 again. I missed just 1 pt in 3 modules, to get the 79.

I can take the next pte on monday para umabot ako sa invitation round sa march 15, but what if mainvite na din naman ako ng nsw within the month. I'm really confused.

@fedsquare hi po. Nagsubmit din ako sa NSW. Would u know ano requirements pag nainvite ka na ng NSW to apply? Nabasa ko kasi within 14 days from invitation dapat makapag apply ka. So while waiting iready ko na kung ano man yung reqts. Thanks.
