for visa 489, we know that 2 years stay and 1 year work sa regional areas para maka apply ng visa 887(PR). does it mean ba na after 1 year work sa regional it is OK to work na sa non regional so long sa regional ka pa din nakatira? example sa WA, perth is non regional, so it is valid to work there while living outside perth? thanks.

@joselito pdos is only for PR. so di mo pa kailangan since you are still on temporary visa

@shirlie mabilis lang pagkuha ng cfo sticker, exempted din tau sa pdos seminar. in less than 20 mins, nakuha ko na cfo sticker. 2pm yung schedule ng pdos seminar pero nandun ako ng 11am. sinabi ko na almost 3 yrs na ako sa australia, so they exempted me from attending the pdos seminar scheduled at 2pm and then they processed straight away my cfo sticker. so i guess, kahit 2pm schedule ng appointment mo, punta ka na agad dun sa umaga.

hi guy/gals,
some update re number of residency requirement ng centrelink.

Case1: my eldest is in Uni (first yr) and dahil PR palang tayo ung HECS-HELP supported lang citizen. We tried to apply for student assistance support pero rejected kasi ung number of residency kulang dapat 2yrs and 2 months.

Case2: my hubby was retrenched. permanent sya sa company pero di umabot ng 1yr so wala din makukuha sa company. nag file kami sa centrelink and after the phone interview rejected. same reason ung number of residency. ung 496 or bridging visa di daw pwede I consider as start date. sa PR date sila mag start.

haiizzz... life nga naman.

Hi to all!

New member po ako. Found this group very helpful. May tanong lang po about Health Check. Just recently lodged 887 visa mid of August (thanks ng marami sa mga nag-share dito ng experience nila helped me a lot with the application)

About my Health Check, nabasa ko before sa website ng Immi ay hindi na need medical if nagmedical ka na sa provisional visa. Recently naman nabasa ko na 12 month lang validity ng medical, so expired na yung dati since 2 years na yun. Nabasa ko sa Immi Account ko under "View Health Assessment" na "this person is required to undergo medical" and nakadisplay yung link ng "Organise health assessment" then pag nagproceed ako dadalhin ako sa page ng eMedical Record. But then may nabasa din ako sa Immi website na kailangan wait mo advise nila if you need health check. At sa ibang mga forum sabi provide mo only if they asked for it.

So nagsasampung isip ako if magpamedical na kami agad or just wait na hingin sayang kasi abutin kami $1000+ sayang naman
