@KHIM skills assessment lang po yan. Employment assessment is when the letter mentions the positions you had and the time frames for those positions. It will require you to submit certificates of employment or statutory declarations to CPAA.

@KHIM did you apply for both? kung employment yan, the document will have a list of your experiences n considered sa nominated occupation mo.

@aron1986 thanks po sa reply., accdg to my agent there is no need for my employment to be assessed, its an option available with additional cost. However, when assessing the visa application, the immigration department does their own employment assessment.

@KHIM parang weird yan na comment from the agent. We all went for employment assessment and yung assessment result ang proof for the claims of your work experience points.

kong sa NSW din nmn target state mo okay na din mag 190.
ako din mag 190 lang ako kasi NSW din nmn ang target state tpos may dagdag score pa pang pataas para ma invite maaga.

@batman may EOI na ko pero 65 lang total pts ko for 189. Hoping for NSW nomination pero mukhang malabo din yata kasi proficient lang ako sa PTE.

Depende sa clinic, but usually 3-5 working days on the average.

DIBP will not do their own employment assessment. They will only base from your positive assessment result. And you cannot claim any points for your work experience, unless you have a valid positive assessment.

Hi everyone just want to ask if any of you have the idea on how long will it take in order for an accountant to receive an invite with 65 pts. for visa 189 and 70 pts for visa 190. I was able to lodge my EOI last february 2017.

@gicah3 your 189 points is way below the cutoff of 70 so until the ceiling will reduced hindi ka mainvite. for 190 naman they prefer high pointers like 75-80 but you have to fall in line ika nga sa mga nauna sau na may higher points.
Si @Diana__Jane nag lodge ngNov 21 ng 189- for 70 points and 190 for 75 points but until now wala pa ITA. pero baka next round meron na sya. ganun ka tagal.

ako din isang taon na wala pa ITA kasi 65 lang ako cut off is 70.
try mo increase points mo.

@gicah3, totoo yung sinabi ni Sir @batman, nsaraduhan na ako ng FY last year wala pa din, mailap pa din si invite. lol Sana nga maging okay na sa mga susunod na rounds. Bukod sa madaming backlogs, mababa din daw kasi ang ceiling last year for accountants dahil din siguro sa daming applicants.

@jillpot DIBP has their own employment background checking. I know someone na may postive assessment sa CPAA and then when DIBP rang the company, magkaiba ang nasabi na job position nya, iyon nagkaroon ng adverse information.

@Pokie yes, of course they do background checking, and also to validate whether yung kine-claim mong points is as per the docs you have submitted. But, definitely not their own employment assessment. They have nothing to do background checking to begin with kung wala kang assessment result.
