Mic placement? Pauses sa comma and periods? Nagbasa kasi ako sa read aloud with feelings kahit parang baliw na ako. Alo yung pinaka huling nagsasalita nun sa room balubaluktot na nga ata sinasabi ko nun sa retell lecture.

Yung mic placement ko eh tip of nose ngayon kasi may minsan may extra sound na nakukuha pg nkbrace. 1St take ko sa tapat ng mouth. With feelings nman po ska pauses.

@caeley maam i think you have a similar case with someone before .. malakas po ba voice mo sa actual exam? You need po na lakasan ung voice sa exam. Ung parang wala ka nang pkialam sa paligid. Then dapat po no hesitations..no long pauses.. tpos keep your speaking speed constant. Dapat same ung speed sa read aloud and describe image. I read somewhere na pag nagbabago ka ng speed , nainterpret nung computer na your having trouble sa pag sasalita. Napansin kp lng maam nag sslow down ka sa words na mahirap ma pronounce then bumibilis ka sa familiar words or group of words. Then pag nagkamali po dont repeat the word na nagkamali. Practice din ng mga toungue twister na excercise.

Ako po kc nagkakamali din ako , nabulol,or mali ung basa ko.. bsta diretso lng ako.constant speed lng..gnun lng strategy ko. So far sa 4 takes ko parating 90 ako sa speaking.

@ivandemarco actually sir malakas nman po ang boses ko. Siguro nga sir nadetect ng comp yung struggle ko sa ibang words. Nkbraces kasi ako and minsan tlga ramdam ko n prang nasabit. Papatanggal ko ba muna to? Hehe. Thank you sir

@caeley Mam napansin mo lang po yung pauses nyo sa stops mejo mahaba then minsan nagpapause po kayo in weird part of the sentences. Try nyo po to speak phrase by phrase. If ever po you need to breathe or stop in the middle of a phrase do it before the conjunctions. Try nyo po observe how BBC ewscasters chunk their phrases when they read the news para may idea po kayo.

@caeley I think hindi mo naman kailangan patanggal braces mo for me hindi sya nakaka affect sa way ng pagsasalita..siguro retainers oo pero braces parang hindi naman.. I think practice lang at stick sa template kasi malaking tulong talaga yun at dapat tuloy-tuloy ang pagsasalita with correct grammar syempre at iwasan yung mga filler words. try mo sa read aloud na basahin yung buong passage/sentence aloud agad sa given practice time para ma familar ka na sa mga words dun.. ganun ginawa ko dun bali parang twice ko syang binabasa aloud. sa repeat sentence naman just concentrate at close your eyes while listening para mas makuha mo yung sinasabi then retell lecture at describe image basta stick to the template and this should be easy.

I've never tried IELTS but I think PTE is much easier. You're being evaluated by the computer instead of an interviewer especially in speaking, which means that you can use templates that the computer may assess with a high grade/score.

Hello peeps.
Nahirapan ako sa mock exam ng reading, ganun din ba ang difficulty sa actual exam?

Anong strategy niyo sa MCMA at MCSA?

Kapag binabasa ko muna question bago ang passage, mas nahihirapan akong intindihin ang passage dahil may initial thinking na ako na dapat hanapin yung sagot. huhu. Parang nahahati ang focus ko sa content ng passage at sa sagot.

Baka may mashare kayong iba pang strategy.
