Hi. I just completed my seminar today. I find it very informative.

I arrived around 1pm. Dami tao kanina lalo na sa cashier area. Pero umabot naman ako sa 2pm seminar. Our speaker is very engaging. Di ako inantok. I was able to take down notes too. Wala naman nagbebenta after ng seminar. Meron lang yun registration sa comelec para sa overseas voters. Dami attendees kanina. Halos mapuno venue. Less than 5seats lang yun bakante. Baka kasi galing long holiday kaya naipon yun mga naglalakad ng mga requirements.

Nag commute lang pala ako. Yun kasi hanap ko sa thread na ito about sa tips papunta dun. Wala ako nakita. Nag LRT lang ako until Quirino sttn. Then nilakad ko un almost 1km until dun sa building.

Im not sure na di mo na kailangan ng CFO and PDOS.. that's because manggagaling ka na from Pinas and dadaan ka sa Phil Immigration.. siguro hahanapan ka nila ng CFO sticker..

Salamat sa lahat ng nag-input sa experiences nila during PDOS. We will be doing our PDOS on Feb 16, kung sino ang uuwi by CNY break kitakits sa Feb 16 dun sa CFO office.

Nagtry akong magregister (ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION FORM) sa CFO site, iniisip ko lang baka mapabilis ang processing later.

Observations:

1. Kailngan na yata ayusin yung registration site at hindi na sya ganun a user friendly.
2. Mabagal at nagloloading sa karamihang mga fields na nirerequire dun sa registration form.
3. Ayaw gumana or may problema dun sa print function after ng registration. Yung print preview ba naman e kasama ang mga frames, syempre hindi na nababasa ang ibang items pag kasama yung website frames. Nagtry ako using ibang browsers and try different printer settings, ayaw talaga. Ending, ni save ko lang pero di naprint.

Hula ko lang din, uulitin ko ulit itong registration naming tatlo pagdating dun sa CFO. LOL.

@rareking good day! hindi po ba tuesdays and fridays lang yung schedule ng for Australia? o pwede po everyday? yun po kasi yung nakalagay sa site. mag PDOS din po sana ko, mas ok sana kung every day meron.

nagtry din po ako nung online registration, save as pdf muna tapos print na lang.

if in the case po na manggaling sa SG or ibang bansa papuntang Australia, hindi na kelangan ng PDOS. Pero later on kasi, may work ka na then nagbakasyon ka sa pinas dadaan ka ulit ng immigration natin pabalik ng Au. Kelangan pa kaya ng PDOS nun? Alam ko kasi pag PR ka, wala OEC e. Ano kaya ipapakita sa officer sa ganun case?

Hi tanong ko lang kung meron naka experience nito:

Parents meron na initial entry sa AU, hindi nag PDOS kasi dumaan sa SG.

Yung baby namin 3yrs old, kunin nalang later part pag nakahanap na kami ng work.

Ang tanong, pag punta ni baby sa AU later on kasami kami, hahanapan ba siya ng PDOS kasi first entry pa niya?

Those who are 12 years old and below are exempted from attending the PDOS. They must, however, be registered, even if by proxy.

hello guys, nag sched ako ng pdos namin kanina. We have a minor child migrating with us and I know na exempted sya from attending the seminar. Kaya lang, may nakalagay na I need to bring his medical record together with his passport and visa grant letter?

Anybody po who can clarify this? Is this the medical exam result na ipinass sa DIBP?

Hello! May question po ako. Thanks in advance sa mga sasagot. Need po ba mag PDOS kahit initial entry muna? Di ba pwedeng pakiusapan na babalik naman ng saudi? Ipapakita nalang yung documents na babalik kami ng saudi (e.g. return tickets, re-entry visa). Nandito po kasi kami sa Saudi at mag initial entry muna sana. Problema kase is nakabili na ng tickets and booking sa hotel, then saka ko lang nabasa na need mag PDOS. huhuhu

Hi All, May Visa grant na kami ng 489.
Nag book kami ng CFO and pumunta kami sa CFO office, ndi daw need ng CFO/PDOS ang visa 489 dahil daw temporary visa lang cya?
Kaso ngayon nakita ko sa site ng AUS/PH embassy na:

"All Philippines nationals travelling to Australia should check with the CFO in order to comply with exit requirements. This applies equally to whether you hold a temporary or permanent Australian visa."

Hi guys, just want to share our PDOS experience and probably reiterating lang some key info that we learned: (FYR- We went to CFO Manila)

1. Go to CFO early to avoid the queue sa registration and payment. We arrived before 12, walang pila. Done in a few mins. Went to Jollibee to pass the time. Pagbalik namin ng 1:30 punong puno na yung ground floor. Yung iba hindi natapos magbayad before seminars started.

2. Those who have stayed in Australia for more than 3 mos can be exempted from the SEMINAR (not the sticker). Mag register and pay to be registered with cFo and ultimately claim your sticker. Your speaker may sign you off as exempted if you have proof that you have stayed in oz for more than 3mos (boarding passes and entry/exit stamps best)

3. If mag initial entry flying from a diff country, di ka naman hahanapan ng CFO sticker so no problem yun, but when you visit pinas and go back to Oz, hahanapan ka pa rin ng Immigration officer sa Ph airport ng sticker, so yes you still need to get that sticker kahit pa returning resident ka na; skip and be exempted from the seminar—see #2

4. May carinderia outside CFO. Jollibee Chowking malapit lang din mga 5-7 mins walk. Or take trike.

5. Sorry I have no info on minors bec husband+wife tandem lang kami.

6. Aus/NZ specific yung seminar although do not expect very in-depth knowledge. Very generic topics lang on what to do/expect; enlightening kung wala ka pang nareresearch about life in Oz, or the first few things to consider for your BM. It would give you pointers on what to read more about. If matagal ka na lurker dito sa forum, mas malaking chance na mas marami kang alam than the speaker, hehe.
