ngayon kase na list nyo po ayy walang nakalagay na name na CTU Cebu Technological University yan napo ang name niya na bago. kase yon yung nakalagy sa TOR ko ano po dapat gawin. pa help po

baka kasi every year may dagdag bawas...para lang maka sigurado. baka kasi mag claim ng 15 pts kasi section 1 sa 201x year, pero nung inases ni ACS, section 3 na pala ang uni na yun.

@otreasure schools in the Philippines are categorized under 3 sections. Most of the prominent schools the likes of DLSU, UP, Ateneo etc belongs to section 1. Yung mga school sa section 1 ang curriculum nila mas malapit or equivalent sa system or curriculum na meron sa ang mga colleges or university sa Australia. in short mas quality ang turo at system na sinusunod at tinuturo doon. Connected sya sa migration kasi ina assess ang education mo if comparable ba or equivalent ba ang claim mo na bachelor degree like the bachelor degree sa Australia. Ngayon kong wala ka sa section 1 not mean na di na comparable and degree mo. kaya hinihingi ang syllabus para malaman ng assessing body kong ang inaral mo ay kapareho ba sa inaral sa Australia at pang bachelor degree ang award after concluding your studies.

@otreasure if your university is under section 2, they’ll look in the 3 things for your qualification to be considered as equivalent to a bachelor degree - years of full time study, average GPA and number of units. Transcript is needed to verify all these. Or if board passer from section 2, it will equate to an AQF bachelor degree as well.

I am very surprised if your agency isn’t aware of this as this topic was covered in our postgrad course in Australian immigration law. This is also stated in the immigration legislation.

Hello po sana my mka help.. Ung asawa ko kasi EE po xa pero Experience nya is Telecom engineer for 8 yrs na.. Plano po naming mag pa assess sa EA as Telecom engineer.

1.ok lang po ba kahit EE xa tapos Telecom Engineer experience nya?
2.Section 3 lang po ang school namin equivalent sa OZ.. lols.
3.Since Section 3 xa do we need to undergo any assessment aside sa EA po?

@madel09 Hi for item no. 1 yes pede syang mag paassess as Telecom engineer as long as align ung work experience nya kahit EE sya..

item 2 : ok lang po kahit anong section ng schools, points in education is based on two things first, is the school section and individual performance..if board passer and you have a good grades malaki din factors to get 15 points... so dont worry may mga section 3 dito nakakakuha din ng max 15 points sa education

item 3 : no since your course and work experience are align to engineering EA lng ang pede mag assess sa iyo.. check the ANZCO and corresponding assessors...

Section 3 po yung school ko, bachelor of Acc at hindi rin ako CPA tho may years of experience ako sa Pinas. Pero naghehesitate ako ipaassess sa CPA kasi ayon sa Criteria:

"CPA Australia will only recognise employment that:

is assessed as closely related to the ANZSCO occupation for which you have received a suitable skills assessment outcome
was undertaken in the 10 years prior to your CPA Australia skills assessment application date
was undertaken after you completed a formal qualification (or combination of qualifications) that is assessed by CPA Australia as equivalent to at least an Australian bachelor’s degree
was paid and continuous for a minimum of 20 hours per week
is a minimum of one year of accumulated employment, for at least three months per role"

Ibig sabihin ba na kung section 3 ang school ko obviously hindi na sya equivalent sa AQF so yung experience ko e hindi na rin counted?

If your degree is from an institution under section 3, then it won’t equate to an AQF degree unless you’re a CPA. Therefore you won’t pass the skills assessment unfortunately
