@ktelita ahahaha naisip ko din yan kaso baka mas ok if yung box na gamitin is intended for shipping kasi kung medyo mahina yun box e baka masira. hindi nga lang free pero iniisip ko baka pede nman bumili sa lucky plaza sa mga balikbayan box. kelan BM nyo kapatid?

Plan naming dalhin na bulky is ung CPU nya and ung mixer ko lang haha the rest clothes and shoes nalang at i.uwi na namin sa Pinas ung d naman necessary. Makikituloy muna kasi kami sa kapatid ng asawa ko

Unang plan namin is September pero ni move namin to August first week kasi ngayon naghahanap na kami ng work dalawa ng asawa ko. May mga rejections na din kami sa mga inaapplyan haha Feeling namin less ung chance if wala dun mismo hehehe..kami lang naman dalawa..wala pa kami anak

Nagbabasa basa uli ako nitong forum and natutuwa ako kasi ang dami ng naggrant at umaalis sa Sg hehehe..

kami almost 11 yrs na sa Sg and PR din kami both ni misis. about sa pag withdraw ng PR, mabilis lng nung time namin which is 3 yrs ago. inabot lng sa amin ng 3 days pumasok na sa banko ung pera. Depende yata yun pag may issue pa sa IRAS or in your case sa HDB. Bago kasi nila irelease yung CPF mo kkuha pa sila ng clearance.

About sa may mga property sa Sg, mas maganda kung mabenta nyo na agad yan before kayo umalis. Meron ako nakilala ayaw pa nya ibenta kasi lugi daw sya kasi bumaba daw yung value ng hdb nya tapos di pa nya marenew yung PR nya kasi 2 yrs na sya dito kaya bumalik sya sa Sg para magwork uli habang yung family nya andito na.

@Anino78 uy thanks sa input. oo nga e hanggat maari nga mas ideal yun 3 days lang ma release na yung funds compared sa 2 months hehe. tama ka ibebenta na din talaga ang flat kasi para malinis nalang din ang transition from sg to au wala ng lingon lingon hahaha!

sg peeps, ask ko lang if nagclose ba kayo ng bank accounts (debit, credit card) when u left? saka pano din diskarte niyo sa bayaran ng tax if naka-giro sya? thanks sa mga makakasagot.

@gabrielle ako hindi ako nag close ng account sa DBS. una madaling mag transfer ng pera from DBS to anywhere without fee. backup account ko na din kaya hindi ko ni close.

Na realize ko mas malaki ang sgd to php kesa aud to php
So kung nag remittance kau sa Pinas like me mas okay pa rin sgd and wala pang fee ang bank transfer from posb
Kahit for transition lang, keep sgd deposit and account active

Hi goodpm. tnong ko lng po bka may mksgot. kelngan po b iupdate ung address sa DHA kht n may grant na?. Balak ko sna umuwi n ng pinas kht 1 month at mnggling dun for preparation sa Big move. kc nklgay n adress nung nglodged kme ng visa eh d2 sa Sg. e2 ung printscreen sa grant letter.

Makaistorbo po, hijingi sna advice nyo. Nkareciv po ako ng invite from VIC at ongoing po ako apply for visa. May nakita po ako post sa ibang thread na reqts pag apply kaso docs na hingi ay declaration form, cv, assessment from EA, tsaka transcript. Dun ba sa other attachments ilalagay ung ibang reqts na nkaindicate sa post like payslips, tax declaration? Tsaka ask ko na rin po, d2 po kmi sg based ni wifey kso umuwi for almost 2months now. Need po ba nya nbi clearance d2 sg o sa pinas?

@skyhachi kapatid, when it comes to documents required, your best source of reference e sa site mismo - this is to ensure na up to date ang listahan mo when it comes to requirements - mas magiging kampante ka din upon knowing na you followed yung list sa site (although dun din galing yung mga binibigay sayo from this forum) - pero mas recommended na din talaga na you use the main source. Pinakamahirap yung akala mo kumpleto ka na sa requirement pero kulang pa pala.

Regarding the 2nd question - lahat kaming SG based submitted both PH NBI Clearance and SG Police Clearance.
For SG Police clearance - this is assuming your wife has a valid visa staying here (even though umuuwi uwi sya ng Pinas).

Sharing to you our preparation experience. Maybe I can help you decide which airline to choose.

My husband and I will be moving to Sydney on Aug 4. We bought our tickets from Scoot. We chose scootbiz with 40kg each check-in baggage and 15kg hand carry (everytime I check googleflights, skyscanner or scoot's website, Scoot is always the cheapest. They're currently having a promo since it's Tuesday, travel period til Dec 2019). Instead of shipping our box, we will be bringing it together with us. It's costly to ship it in advance and avail of check-in baggage

Currently, we are selling items that we will not be bringing to Sydney. If you have friends in Singapore looking for tables, computer monitors, we have for sale! Ironic kasi dito ako nagbebenta hahaha pero just taking my chance.

If malayo pa big move nyo, I recommend na mag declutter na kayo kasi gaya namin, umuwi na kami ng pinas pero I realized ang dami pa pala namin i.uwi na gamit sa Pinas coz we don't need it when we move to AU. Need talaga ang time sa mga gamit. hehehe

For our rented room, may nahanap na din kaming kapalit.

So far yan pa mga nagawa namin.
