@agentKams Software Engineer po nominated occupation niya. Sa ACS kami papaassess nung isang course niya kasi ICT naman talaga yun, yung isang course lang niya na Diploma in proj management non-ICT kasi.. Will read on that link, thanks!

Two types sya, yung isa jan hindi naman need ng skills assessment :-) Yung sa mga friends ko ay sa post grad. But all good, good luck sa application!

@superluckyclover , may nabasa ako sa link ni @agentKams , pwede ba namin ipaassess yung degree na nakuha niya dito sa PH instead na yung australian courses na tinake niya?

I see. Hindi ko masabi anong situation. So yung partner mo ay skilled na? May chance na ba sya makakuha ng skills assessment?

Bale nakapag paassess na kasi kami before and nag positive na yung skills assessment niya for skilled migration. Ngayon, gusto namin sana mag apply ng 485 habang waiting ng invite. Pwede ba namin ipaassess ulit under 485 skills assessment yung degree niya ulit sa pinas? Para yun yung gagamitin namin towards sa requirement na skills assessment sana.

As for my case, hindi needed ang skills assessment sa post-graduate. Pero if positive na pala ang skills assesment niya for skilled migration, I believe you can already use that for 485 temp. grad. Mas higher requirements kasi ang skilled migration assessment kesa temp grad assessment so no need to have another assessment.

Just my two cents po.

Oh no.. Just realized it just now too..so dapat pala okay na yung skills assessment namin for migration kasi same qualification lang siya.. Nalodge nanamin yung assessment e, not sure kung makakuha kami refund.

Share ko lang, tumawag kami immi and naconfirm namin na pwede gamitin yung skilled migration skills assessment (ACS assessment yung samin) sa 485 visa application (graduate work). Napacancel na din namin yung new assessment na nilodge namin sa ACS and waiting for refund.

@superluckyclover hi po, tanong ko lang kelangan ko po ba ienrol ang anak ko bfore ako mglodge ng 485.. kasama po ba cya sa docs na iaattach ko if mg lolodge n ako or dapat antayin muna ang visa bago ko cya ienrol? thanks po

Hi! Depende kasi sa age ng anak mo and also sa schools na i-enrol mo sya. Nung time na mag lodge kami ng 485, ang anak ko ay 5 years old palang so optional pa ang school sakanya. Nag-child care lang sya para may kalarong kids.

Nung 6 sya, approved na yung 485 namin, then inenrol ko sya sa public school for Preppy, wala kaming binayaran parang miscellaneous fees lang na less than 200 dollars.

Mixed yung naririnig ko sa 485 for kids eh. May schools na hindi pumapayag na i-government subsidise ang prep-onwards pag bridging visa pa lang so need mo mag bayad ng international tuition fee which is around 6,000 AUD (depende sa school)

Pero may mga kilala ko na sabi nila nung naka bridging visa na sila, free na anak nila sa public school.

6 ang school age dito sa Victoria. Iba iba ang rules per state. May mas late pa, around 7, not sure which state but check it out. Pwede mo rin i-homeschool yung anak mo, you just need to register but yes, legal and another option dito ang homeschooling.

salamat po.. tanong ko lang po sa lahat if madali lang po ba mg apply ng 485 visa para sa skilled worker or mas better to seek help from a migration lawyer.. especially if family kayo with 2 or 3 dependent.. thanks po.. may nkapagtry na po ba mg 485 na diploma in early childhood graduate?

Straightforward application sya for postgraduate 485, completion letter lang, PTE at AFP yung importante (+ basic docs like birth cert, valid passport, etc)

Yung 485 mo ba yung 18 months?

yes usually AFP lang dito hinihingi pero mas maganda may NBI ka na rin na naka ready para just in case hingin

Hello Guys.. Buhayin ko lang po ulit tong thread na to..

Bale tapos napo skill assessment ko sa EA sa Chem Engg.. Eto po ung nominated occupation ko.

Ngayon andito napo ko sa Perth, ng SV ng Cert IV and Diploma ing WHS for 2 years.
Mukhang kukulangin pdin points ko before matapos ang SV ko so need ko ng pangextend ng Visa which is im planning to get this Graduate Visa.

Confirm kolang po.. Paggraduate ko, pwd bang ung skill assessment sa Chem Engg nalang ang isubmit ko to process Temp Grad Visa Work Stream?

And applicable din ba to sa college school provided na meron naman kmi CRICOS Code?

@indulgence you may need to inquire sa assessing body mo. kay @Mizai01 nagamit niya iyong skills assessment niya for the 485 graduate skilled visa.

@indulgence tama si @agentKams better confirm it with the assessing body as well as DHA din. Sa case namin yes yung previous qualification namin from philippines ang ginamit namin for skilled assessment. Waiting pa kami ng dec11 though, bago kami maglodge, in case magkainvite sa 189/190. Question lang din, related ba sa nominated occupation mo din yung courses na tintake mo ngayon?

Question for this visa kasi ang case ng kapatid ko is he is studying Cert III in Individual Support (6 months) and Diploma in Community Support for (18 months) - is this considered as meeting the Australian study requirement? kasi ang explaination is pwede syang 2 course pero prang hindi na specify kung anong mga courses..so kahit anong course of study ganun?

and another requirement is Have skills and qualifications that Australia needs ---
nasa list nman ng requirement ang skill nya kasi nurse sya pero sa pinas sya nag aral as a nurse

@sha_Brisbane to get positive assessment as nurse in Aus, i believe you need to be registered with APHRA, go to the thread for nurses baka may maka help sayo dun. iyong course na sinasabi should be related to the nominated occupation.

@Mizai01 hello po. Somehow related sya pero not exactly. Chemical Engineering kasi ang nominated occupation ko while ung study ko dito sa Perth is Work, Health and Safety.

Totoo ba na ang highest degree still ang ipapaassess which is ung bachelors deg ko?

@indulgence not sure dun sa correlation nung course sa occupation mo,I recommend you seek advice of an agent.

Yes highest degree pa rin yung dapat mo ipaassess since mas malaki dagdag na points nun. Saka yung degree mo related talaga dun sa occupation. Hi, has anyone here recently applied for Post-Study Graduate Visa? The DHA website says processing time now is 43 days to 4 months. I'm considering to do some lengthy travel outside AU while waiting for the 485 visa grant, so I was wondering if anyone has received their grant within the 75% or 90% processing time (with complete documents submitted). Also, is the expiration date of the 485 visa based on 2 years after the visa grant date, or the time I enter AU (if I'm offshore when the visa is granted)?

If qualified ka na for 189/190, I don't see it as an issue sa 485. Pag nameet mo naman lahat ng requirements at prerequisites ng 485, deserve mo yun

Hi guys, question lang ulit, may eoi na kami 189/190 waiting for invite tapos nagclaim kami partner points dun, makakaaffect kaya sa PR application if ever namin kung magaapply yung de facto partner ko ng 485 visa na hindi ako kasama sa application na yun/meaning engaged kami pero di pa ako sasama sa kanya sa au at this time?
