We submitted everything that we have kase wala na din talaga way si hubby makakuha pa ng payslip sa dalawang companies na pinagtrabahuan niya. Sobrang strict nila ngayon. Kailangan pala talaga per year na coverage ang paymwnt evidence. Sobrang sayang, another bayad ulit pag nag re appeal. 😔

Yes, sobrang strict nila recently. Parang dami ko rin nababasa na negative outcome these days. Tapos depende pa rin yan sa natapat na assessor.

Anyway, try nyo na lang ulit re-assess. Kumpletuhin nyo na muna yung lahat ng evidence before submitting. Clear naman ang guidelines ng ACS, just ask around here sa forum kung merong di kayo sure. Actually marami na rin naman info online lalo na dito, need lang magback read hehe..

And if I may suggest, kung mag DIY kayo, gawa kayo ng checklist, para hindi nyo ma-miss yung mga requirements.

I understand where the agent is coming from - that ACS usually gets in touch if they need anything else. Hence, they assumed it would have been the same with your case. However, it’s also an agent’s responsibility to make sure that the client is submitting a decision ready application. Meaning, the application is backed up by all the documents required. If my office would have been faced with this situation, I would very much be uncomfortable to submit an application if documents are still not complete. Would normally tell the client to either - we won’t feel confident to submit until evidences are complete or we can submit them but risk the possibility that they may not follow up and make a decision straight away, that’s the case officer’s prerogative, something agent shouldn’t always assume. You should have been given options and decide on it yourself.

Unfortunately, Hindi mo na pwede ihabol yung insufficient payment evidence since they have made a decision na and this requirement is very clear on the guideline so there is no excuse for failing to not complete the documents.

I’ve heard from other agents how strict ACS had become recently as there has been an increase of negative outcomes lately mainly due to non-compliance.

I was willing to do it on my own since I was doing alot of reading in this forum but still we dont want to miss the tiniest detail in the process and thats why we decided to get an agent deapite the additional cost as I believe they are the ones who can help us thoroughly check the docs before submitting it. I think it is also her 1st time processing it after ACS introduced new ruling (payment evidence)
She offered to refund half of the payment if we do not want to re appeal anymore. So I'm thinking about it and then just use the money to DIY. What can you suggest po?

I can’t comment on this as it all depends with what your comfortable with. Sorry to hear about your predicament.

I can imagine how unfortunate it is for your agent as well. I’m crossing my fingers we’ll never be in this situation. I constantly remind my staff from day 1 my agency has been on operation to never assume things when dealing with all applications. Would rather delay the submission then submit it ASAP if it means we can double check compliance more effectively.

Just a prewarning to those who are reading this post. ACS has become very strict so be very careful if you’re on a DIY approach. A lot of experienced agents have been caught up with this Change with ACS recently (luckily not us, hope won’t happen given our clean record m)which also prompted us to be very careful and much more thorough before applying. So just be mindful that if experienced agents have got it wrong, more so for those DIY’s so be extra extra careful.

Pwede naman po sakin any of that but I don't know what to consider?

The thing is it has been stressed out on the guideline that the application must be decision ready. Your agent should have made sure that yours was, meaning all documents must be provided.

Hi po, baka po meron dito makagbigay sakin ng advise or insights. I recently received a negative assessment due to 'insufficient documentation'. Kaya inemail ko ang ACS para itanong kung ano ang kulang, and sabi nila:

"We require more specific details of the ICT focus and outcomes insofar as ICT focus of role, software and systems developed and implemented as a result of the applicant's duties."

Mukhang nakulangan sila sa details ng Third Party Statutory Declaration na pnrovide ko.
Pwde pa kaya ulit ako magsubmit ng another Third Party Statutory Declaration (from the same declarant) with a more detailed list of duties?

Just make sure you’re comparing it with the ANZSCO definition. From the experience I’ve had with various clients, there’s always one occupation that will stand out. All the best.

Sorry to hear sa mga gagastos dahil lang sa "Insufficient Documentation" result na pinapataw ni ACS. Need mag-undergo ng Review at magbayad ulit ng 3/4 nung binayad nyo nung una para lang sa isang kulang na document at pagkakamali. As you all know kung di pa kayo aware, may mangyayaring transition si ACS due to some shortcomings that were identified. Just received an email from ACS mismo. Be EXTRA CAREFUL kung magsa submit kayo ng document, siguraduhing kumpleto at aligned sa guidelines dahil isang mali lang sigurado negative outcome agad yan. Not sure, pero mukang binabaling ni ACS yung sama ng loob sa mga applicants, which is annoying.

Hope someone can give me light on this matter:

Background:

From 17 January 2017 to present. Working on the same company. (started when I was still a student)
Complete my degree 06 July 2017 (as stated on my Completion Letter)

" This letter is to advise that on July 06, 2017, Josh XXXXX, XXXXXXXX, born the XXXXXXXXX, completed the requirements for the award of Master of Information Systems (CRICOS Code 083580K) from XXXXXXXXXXXX University with an award conferral date of the twenty-fourth day of July, 2017"

Applied for skill assessment 11 October 2018 using my work experience (01/17 - 10/18) - Positive assessment.

"The following employment after July 2017 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261XXX of the ANZSCO Code."

Question?

Should I start claiming work experience under my nominated skill starting 06 July 2017. Is this correct? My assessment letter doesn't specify which specific date.

Just to share my opinion on this, I don't think it has something to do with their organizational reform. They are just really getting stricter and stricter by the day that's why a lot of assessment results are turning out to be negative. Their internal re-organization is remotely related to any of their duty as the ICT assessing body for migration.

kailangan pa po bang lahat ng requirements ipa-CTC (I've heard na hindi na daw po kasi kailangan)?

Ano po bang nilagay sa present employer niyo dun sa date (up to date), maari po bang ung date nlang kung kelan ka nagupload?

Required po ba talaga ng explanation ng employer kung bakit hindi sila makapag-issue ng COE with job description although meron na kaming Statutory Document at COE ng declarant?

Payslip - kailangan po ba every year na payslip talaga but meron na din po akong SSS Distribution history?

Marami pong SALAMAT sa sasagot.

Hi! Is it true na hindi na need ng notary per document (like per passport, diploma etc) accdg to one site na guide ko:

“Is Notary required for ACS Assessment?
Notary is not required for ACS assessment.

ACS changed the notary requirement in Sep 2019. The only exception is co-worker reference letter for your work experience. This letter needs notary.“

Pls someone answer esp those who submitted after the change in guidelines and got positive results.

Hi! Pwede po ba i-appeal sa ACS kung bakit advanced diploma lang po yung assessment nila sa course and school ko? I was expecting po kasi na Bachelor’s degree yung lalabas sa assessment

“Your Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from FEU - East Asia College completed April 2010 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Advanced Diploma with a Major in computing.”

They don’t assess institutions, they base their decisions on the Country Education Profile maintained by the department of education and training. As per records, it is section 1. They don’t assess institutions, they base their decisions on the Country Education Profile maintained by the department of education and training. As per records, it is section 1. Don’t appeal kasi you will pay when you shouldn’t. Query it with them as it’s possible they overlooked it. Mentioned Country Education Profile and section 1 when you query them. Just so they’ll have the impression you know what you’re talking about. Good luck!

Ano po bang nilagay sa present employer niyo dun sa date (up to date), maari po bang ung date nlang kung kelan ka nagupload?

Required po ba talaga ng explanation ng employer kung bakit hindi sila makapag-issue ng COE with job description although meron na kaming Statutory Document at COE ng declarant?

Payslip - kailangan po ba every year na payslip talaga but meron na din po akong SSS Distribution history?
