@whatsam , in my case I applied for 489 Visa last nov. 2018. Just got a positive result Aug.1, 2019.

*May 2016 -Heard one friend sharing stories about Australia
-Had my research the ff.day about my job opportunity in Australia
-Become aware about PTE, ANZSCO and VETASSESS
    *Sept.2016 - 1st attempt of PTE (Dubai). LRSW = 83/71/76/83
*Dec.2016 - Submitted docs to VETASSESS for Skills Assessment
*Feb.2017 - Positive result from VETASSESS
(Only chance of EOI was in SA which require high points for a 489 visa)
*Mar.2017 - 2nd attempt of PTE (Phil). LRSW = 86/76/65/90 (unsuccessful to get superior)
    *Nov.2017- I turned 40, which means minus 10 pts. =(
    - Started to lose hope and forget my Aus dream for a while
*July 2018 - NT, SA and Tasmania were open
    - I needed to get a superior score from PTE
*Aug. 2018 - 3rd attempt of PTE (Dubai). LRSW = 57/69/84/56 (scores were awful)
(Despite my scores, I am determined and wont stop til i get that superior)
    *Oct.2018 - 4th attempt of PTE (Phil). LRSW = 79/90/83/86 (at last!)
*Nov.2018 - EOI Northern Territory, Tasmania and SA
    *Aug.1, 2019 - Northern Territory ITA
*Aug.7, 2019 - Official NT Skillselect ITA (Hired MA for visa lodging)
    *Aug.20, 2019 - Lodged Visa
(Whatever the outcome is, life goes on & Im forever grateful to the Lord)
    *Nov.18, 2019 - 489 Visa direct grant

    Thank you Lord

Unfortunately 190 are allocated to onshore applicants. 491 would be the best way forward. All the best

Good day po thank you for your reply. As per my agent ganun din po ang sabi niya pero just to clarify things wala po nakapost sa official NT website na 190 is strictly for onshore applicants or meron po ba at na missout ko lang?

I’m not sure where it’s posted. I only know because I got an email from NT for our clients.

It’s too soon to get data on application results. NT just opened their scheme in December, only 2 months ago. Not enough time pa.

For your opinion po, anu mas okay isubmit, Bank Statement na reflecred yung deposit ng inutang ko or just a Bank Certificate na reflected lang yung actual balance ng account ko?

@julien.demiar the requirement was clear. Net assets. You have to declare both assets and liabilities. If you only declare assets and hide liabilities that's fraudulent which might have consequences in the future. I'll go with bank statement.

@batman Sir tulad po ng sabi nyo na ang net assets ay assets and liabilities, ibig sabihin po ba ima-minus po yung liabilities q sa assets or magsa-sum up po sya para makumpleto yung required financial capacity?

In reality po kasi sobrang kunti lang naman siguro ng visa holders na currently may possession ng big amount of money na required nila kaya ang one of the possible means po ay ang mangutang or magloan kaya iniisip ko na kung magloloan pero ibabawas lang din naman ang liabilities sa assets, it defeats the purpose lang din po. Hahaha.

Your assumption about net assets is correct. Better to present it that way kasi yun required nila . Let them decide. Kasi they will see how much your cash currently. Your liability can be long term that doesn't need to be settled now. So your still capable to survive with the current funds you have even you have liability. Their concern, IMHO, is are you gonna survive in NT until you get employed? If yes how.. Show the funds. Kaya din need employability kasi their concern is makak work kaba agad pag dating or maging pabigat lang sa government. If yes show employability proof.. Try mo i view yung pano nila I assess case mo, its not just providing kasi what's required, at least understand why they require it, from there, better proof and supporting docs ma provide mo.

In short provide mo net asset, provide proof din na utang mo is not payable on demand but on a long term basis. So you can still use the funds currently. If its other way around that is a different story..

    Sir/madam

I opted po sa services ng isang MARN. While registering sa NT website may option po sa account type either as "Applicant" or "Migration Agent" alin po dun ang dapat piliin since may agent ako?

Yes sir yung registration po online sa website ng NT. They insisted on using my email at yung application type is applicant. Nag-tataka lang po ako kung bakit hindi "Migration Agent"

Nag-create po ako ng account using my personal e-mail just to test kung paano. Upon completion of the requirements ready to apply na po ako online thru NT website but then hiningi ng agent ko yung password since registered na yung e-mail ko and suggested that account type shall be applicant and not migration agent. Sinubukan ko po mag-research pero parang gray area yung part na yun.

If you’re referring to registering on the website to apply for nomination, we do this on behalf of our clients. I don’t specifically do this, my admin does it.

Thank you for your response mam.

Yes mam, does this mean that you apply for your client's NT nomination through your agency's registered account on the website?
