VETASSESS FOR CREATIVES (Graphic Designers, etc)

Hi everyone! Bago lang po ako dito and I'm just about to start preparing stuff for my VETASSESS.

I'll be applying as a GRAPHIC DESIGNER (ANZSCO: 232411) and my question to my fellow creatives is: What did your CV and portfolio for VETASSESS look like?

I understand that it's only limited to 5mb per (pdf) file, so is it okay to submit a simpler portfolio & CV like as-is na title with details and design samples lang and then make a separate, more detailed, or elaborately designed one for job hunting?

Hello! For the CV, I tried to be as detailed as possible sa job description nila and I made it sure na align yung mga description ni ANZCO for Graphic Designers sa nilagay kong description on my CV. For my portfolio, yes it can be simpler. I only inlcuded my works sa companies that I will be sending for assessment. In my case kasi meron akong work na hindi Graphic Designer sa CV.

Also, I tried to make sure to put more sample works for those companies kasi iniisip ko serves as proof din siya na nag work ka on that certain company. hehe Positive naman yung assessment ko

Hi again, sorry, I just need some guidance with this and I don't know who to ask...
About sa CV, do I have to include freelance job/s in my work experience that aren't related to Graphic Design (ex, Photography, Video Editing, etc)? Kinakabahan ako baka magka-problema especially sa payment evidences since cash basis lang sila lahat and I may not have enough proof na mapo-provide

Sa application, honestly, finalizing portfolios and gathering pa rin ako ng documents. Medyo mabagal but getting there hehe.
About sa target visa, actually inaaral and kinakapa ko pa rin.. nasa list ko rin ng consideration ang 190, hindi ko lang naayos sa signature and mukhang kailangan ko na palitan hehe

salamat po! nagpasa na ako ng EOI for NSW and VIC. 80+5 pts naman kahit proficient english. but will push for superior update ko nalang EOI.. pwede naman yun no?

yung NAATI ba, kapag nasa AUS ka lang pwede mag-take? hindi pwede na nasa Pinas ka? saw it lang sa timeline mo hehe

Hi! Ngayon ko lang to nabasa. Graphic Designer na granted na here (491 ACT). Sa totoo lang, yung resume ko is yung usual resume ko lang. As for portfolio, gumawa lang ako a few pages ng screenshots ng mga gawa ko per company.

Pinakaimportante talaga yung Statement of Service and Proof of Income + Proof of Supperannuation/Taxes (yung equivalent is SSS/Philhealth etc). I made sure swak yung description ng job ko sa guide ng ANZCO.

Bumalik sakin once yung VETASSESS ko, nag ka issue sa:
Proof of Income sa Dubai - Nagbigay ako ng Bank Statement ng sahod ko
CoE sa Pinas - Yung isang company ko, CoE lang binigay, nanghingi talaga ng actual Statement of Service
PRC - For some reason, akala nila may PRC for Graphic Designers, nag email ako na wala talaga and tinanggap na nila

Nasa UAE din ako ngaun, ask ko lang panu mo na provide ung SSS contribution? may specific ba na form or screenshot lang ng dashboard ok na?

From what i know, if wala statement of service. Ginagawa ng iba Stat Declaration. Unfortunately di ko kinailangan gawin no so no idea ako pano. Attach mo pa rin lahat ng proof na meron ka together with the Stat Declaration

Hi! Aside from bank statements & tax records, pwede ka rin mag-add ng SSS, PhilHealth & PAG-IBIG documents/screenshots (yung contributions and employment history) About sa contract offer parang pwede rin but di ako 100% sure.
