Nais ko pong magaral ng Diploma in Nursing dito sa Aus dahil nasasawa na ako sa work ko in the office . Isa pa indemand ang nursing dito , ang kaso kailangan maipasa ang IELTS to be registered sa Nursing here . Anmahal pa naman ng IELTS exam here costing about $300 +++ so kung di maipasa , paulit ulit na exam at paulit ulit na bayad din .Anyone who experience this ? Pls share naman ..thank you po.

@luzviminda - the question you would probably want to ask first is, what type of IELTS module is needed for your specific needs. General be or Academic.

Double check on this but I reckon that if is a requirement for schooling then it would fall under the Academic module.

Academic module is harder than the general module as it involves a much longer passage in the reading part and some analysis of some graph in the written portion.

All the rest, listening and speaking are the same...

    Goodluck! :D

@luzviminda, kayang-kaya mo yang IELTS. :) Practice ka mga 2 or 4 weeks before ng test schedule mo as in practice really hard. Devote at least 2 hours per day. Then, read the IELTS thread here for tips and tricks. You can also find practice materials at the top part of this page.

Like what @psychoboy said, dalawang IELTS exams lang ang options, general or academic. There's no IELTS for Nursing, no IELTS for Engineers, and so on.

    God bless! :)

Nominated Occupation: Software Engineer (261313) - Husband is the primary applicant.

10.21.2012 - Arrived in Melbourne. This is the day that the Lord has made. :)
03.26.2012 - Visa granted. God is good, all the time! All the time, God is good! :)
03.23.2012 - PCC submitted and medicals finalized
03.02.2012 - Application being processed further / CO assigned
    06.26.2011 - Lodged Visa 175 application

Then you need to take the Academic Module... :) As mentioned it is tougher in reading and writing but with some preparation you can really get the score you need!

All the best... Practice, practice and practice lang talaga!!

I am a Registered Nurse here in Aussie. Umm pero hindi ko po naabot ung all 8 sa IELTS ko which was my goal. Umm since meron na akong skills assessment, does that mean na pwedeng General Training nalang ang itake kong IELTS exam next time?

Your reply will be very much appreciated!
