Yep I guess it depends on the country where you lodge the visa. Mine was processed in Hong Kong. Patience lang tlga.

@basia No idea but it seems to be like that. It just happened that I was working in Hong Kong when we lodge the visa. We always thought n.a. mas mdali processing sa pinas b4.

You can apply for a tourist visa 600 while on a pv309/100 visa. I got my tourist visa for 3 months. Plus you've got to inform the department that you're in Aus once you arrived. I hope that helps
