@mrluis - You need not post multiple thread for the same question. I merged in into one as it is unnecessary for such.

to answer your question - basa lang, basa ka lang sa forum and/or sa www.immi.gov.au; the 101 on what you need to know on where to start are all there.

    (1) http://pinoyau.info/discussion/1073/important-information-how-do-i-start-my-application/p1
    (2) http://www.pinoyau.info/discussion/477/what-are-the-options-for-nurses/p1

As to your question on whether to get an agent or not - I guess it depends on whether gusto mo makatipid or not. For most of us here, we did not get an agent as it is too costly (bayad nun can go as high as SGD10K, sayang din naman yun); what we did lang was to research and plan our options. Anything not clear on a process, we ask it here...

    Cheers!

@mrluis if you have the time to read up on the guidelines...malaki matitipid niyo sa do-it-yourself visas...of course, kung ayaw niyo na problemahin lahat ng requirements, there's always the migration agent path hehe...

Nandun po sa links na binigay ni psycho mga kailangan niyo...but as a general rule of thumb, start with the IELTS...diyan sumasakit ulo ng karamihan hehe

I think so po...that's how strict the nursing practice is in Australia pero sa experience niyo, it's just a matter of formality (and some $'s) hehe

@mrluis . you don't need bridging course because you have worked in sg. check mo sa AHPRA website requisites for registration as Nurse here. ang alam ko, ielts 7.0 ang kailangan plus some $'s na registration fee. once you are registered here, pwede ka na mag-apply ng work sa hospitals. usually sila na rin mag-sponsor ng working visa mo. :)

    hi Mrluis!

Yes. Medyo badshot yan sakin. But this is just my personal experience and opinion only ha?

Previously when i was looking for sponsors to help us for the site's operational cost.

I emailed his good company for an advertisement proposal but to my surprise. I receive a .... let's just say a not really good reply from him.

It's not because they rejected the proposal but my issue was they way he spoke negavitely to one of our migration agent sponsor here on our site which i think is really childish in some way. If you want to reject just reject me with a simple no will do.

Besides the migration agent he was claiming to be doing false business advertisement happened to be my friends employer so I know all the thing about their company.

If you are still undecided which migration agent to get. I advise you to try out our sponsor here. I can endorse you to them and will try to ask for discounts as well. Btw I dont get any commission from this. Just happy supporting members as well as sponsors helping our community grow.

@mrluis sa mga nabasa ko, the next thing you have to do after you get your IELTS exam results is to have your credentials assessed by AHPRA. sila kasi nagrerecommend kung kelangan mo pa bang magbridging program para makapagregister sa kanila o di na. nagrerecommend sila ng bridging program 3 months or longer ata, depende sa experience. that's based lang on my readings sa other forum about bridging programs ha.
