It is really true that there is a conspiracy in some test centers in general? I'm just curious for those who got three high scores out of four modules but unfortunately binitin sa isa lalo na sa case of reading or listening where in if you file for remarking is just a waste of money since that's an objective type of exam and there is a slim chance of getting score change.Since we all know it's business.Curious lang talaga ako o talagang ganun lang inabot ng rating.
@ necrons, i don't think so. i believe, if u really prepared yourself, then no one can bend your performance. I have just got my results an hour ago and it was a relief after the thought that i messed up with the writing part. i didn't have a formal review coz i am currently working, but still i reckon the result is outstanding: 1. listening - 8 2. reading - 7.5 3. writing - 8 4. speaking - 7.5 Overall band Score - 8.
Prayers do moved mountains! also, i got a reply from Victoria State Sponsorship asking for a particular statement so i guess my application is moving fast since i have just applied on the 19th.
Cheers.

@ unanimous21, Yes! I do believed on that once you're prepared at all angles I'm sure you hit the target but still there are some significant factors to be consider...as what I've said..hehe..By the way, you got a splendid rating I admire your scores. Once I sit the exam I hope I'll bring those freshness and warmness of your remarkable points!
i'll share some news about IELTS. sometimes money is involve too, like one of the english testing center here in perth, where there is investigation going on about manipulation of test result exchange for money, around 500 to 1000 AUD,not bad enough if it would end up becoming PR. But Unfair with others.. and they've been doing the corruption in the past 8 yrs.

@aolee, can you please send IELTS review materials to my email address [email protected]. Thanks in advance!
Writing exam is really the most difficult in my own opinion. Most of us haven't been accustomed to writing long essays since our college days. To add to this, writing using Pencil is hard when the lead dulls out.
@skantmanjp, i reckon if u really want review materials, u have the best tool, and that is internet, that's what i did when i reviewed for the exam. trust me u can find almost everything, but the best materials i could recommend u is Kaplan 2009-2010 and Cambridge Volumes 1-7. U can all get this from the net, just google those.
With the writing, after the exam i thought i messed up as i run out of words with the essay thus, i added one sentece each paragraph on the last minute, but i was able to get a score of 8. With the pencil thing, i recommend to use a technical pencil (those used by architects and engineers). this was what i used. U can buy a cheaper one. goodluck sa exam!
FYI. ur words should not be less than 250 words and as much as possible limit it to 275.

Thanks for the inputs unanimous21, really helpful. Ill try the technical pencil, kasi I used mongol lang eh... Congrats for getting good marks on your IELTS, sana ako rin! \m/
