Mangyari kasi yon work ko nagfu fall sa "computer network and systems engineer" pero as per mga draw last 2019 pa ata nabigyan ng invitation yon category na to...

Hi! Same tayo na ECE. I nominated ICT Security Specialist. Bachelors naman din assessment sakin ni ACS. May deduction na 6 years pero pwede pa rin naman iclaim yung relevant work experience as per my agent. Since on March 15 ata magchechange na yung skills assessment process ni ACS and you can nominate 3 occupations, you might want to consider Computer Network and Systems Engineer as a nominated occupation as well. Pero still up to your work experience ano yung mas fit.

A lot of factors play in the selection process - prio or non-prio occupation/younger applicants/ more experience/ target sector prioritization/having a skilled partner / high salary for onshore /preference for superior English proficiency.
At the moment -it is best to make it a point to maximize fulfilling the criteria available when applying to increase the chances of getting an invite.
I hope the next FY will turn better- for more allocations and seats and more occupations to be included in the invitation rounds including the express processing of backlogs.

Yes 5 years, I need to redo time and time and again documents that were expired to make a valid EOI- factors like COVID-19 extended many who are waiting to be invited, especially us non-prio and are offshore.

Currently waiting for visa grant - (waiting time for SC 190 visas is at 90% of applicants is 12 months at the moment)

I waited 2 years before I got invited. I started 2021.
During the 1.5 years wait, I only have proficient english hence kind of assumed na malabo na talaga ako mainvite. We have a large pool of EOIs for software engineer din. My skills assessment also expired.

Between 2023Q3 and 2023Q4, I tried to increase my points (english +10) and renewed my skills assessment. I got invited Feb2024 at 90 points. Now waiting for NSW 190 visa grant.

I waited 2 years before I got invited. I started 2021.
During the 1.5 years wait, I only have proficient english hence kind of assumed na malabo na talaga ako mainvite. We have a large pool of EOIs for software engineer din. My skills assessment also expired.

Between 2023Q3 and 2023Q4, I tried to increase my points (english +10) and renewed my skills assessment. I got invited Feb2024 at 90 points. Now waiting for NSW 190 visa grant.

Grabe yung hirap pala ngayon. 90pts hirap pa? Anyway, Thanks sa response at good luck sa inyong lahat. It will be all worth it once andito na kayo.

Additional 15 points for state nomination if you tick 491 State Sponsorship in your EOI. This is for provisional/temporary subclass.
