Sending savings from overseas to Australia

Good Day!
Can I ask if someone send their savings from overseas to Australia after a year migrating? I'm wondering if the gov't will apply tax.
Hope someone can share their experience.

24.April.2015 - Direct Visa Grant!

22.June.2020 - Lodge Citizenship Application
