Situation, ill apply for TV and then de facto visa?
My girlfriend is pinay . Aus citizen.
I was away for a year.
But we have known each other for 1 and half year we dont know what is the next step for me to be there with her.
Plan is ill apply TV and apply for a defacto visa. Sounds right???

Usually, your de facto relationship must have existed for at least 12 months immediately before you apply for the visa. Time spent dating or in an online relationship might not count as being in a de facto relationship.
If you don't have strong evidence to support your de facto relationship for 12 months, others opted to register their relationship with an Australian authority such as a registry of births, deaths and marriages. This waives the 12-month co-habitation rule. Note that not all states acknowledge registration of relationship, so check your destination state if you are able to do so.
