Hi to All, Please take extra care guys wherever you are, take care of your love ones too. Especially to our friends in Singapore, more being confirmed, and are through community spread, no longer from people who travelled from China. Observe proper hygiene at all times and also monitor our little ones as they often put their hands in their mouth.

COVID19 Update (22 March 2020)

The ACT Chief Health Officer, Dr Kerryn Coleman, has announced 10 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the ACT’s total to 19 as at midday today.

The new cases include 7 males and 3 females, aged between 21 and 67 years.

ACT Health is currently undertaking thorough contact tracing of all positive test results, but can confirm that eight (8) cases are linked to overseas travel, one (1) case is a known close contact of a previously confirmed case and one (1) case follows interstate travel from Queensland.

Relevant flight details will be uploaded to the www.health.act.gov.au/novelcoronavirus website shortly and the community are encouraged to visit the site if they have recently undertaken air travel to Canberra.

There have been 2395 negative COVID-19 tests in the ACT as at midday on Sunday 22 March.

There are currently two (2) COVID-19 patients being cared for in hospital in Canberra. The remainder of the current cases are isolating at home with the support of ACT Health.

ACT Health is continuing to take appropriate public health action in line with national guidelines.
