Hello po sa mga nag BM sa Australia, specifically Adelaide. Kakagrant lng po ng 491 visa and just wanted to consolidate lahat ng info na na research ko sa pinoy forum to help myself and others. Do share your experience and suggestions by number. Salamat !!!

1) TFN : Apply online (1 month processing)
2) Banking : Apply Commbank online. Once arrived in Adelaide, visit bank to verify and activate account. Proceed to transfer money.
3) Housing : Tough rental market. Consider agent. Have contacted Rental Fairy for help in application and house inspection on our behalf.
4) Job : Tough. To network and attend gatherings.
5) Phone : Sim only available on arrival (provider Unknown)
6) Internet : to find one good for remote work (provider unknown yet)
7) Kids School : fees at public school are at ‘local’ rate- unsure? Should be within catchment area
8) Transportation : is car necessary? Is public transportation reliable (Singapore level)? Train card available for unlimited use on monthly basis.
9) Food : employees bring Baon to work. Eating out expensive.
10) Health Insurance : choose one that would pay for even a simple visit to clinic (provider unknown)
11) Areas to avoid due to drugs/ crime : unknown yet

You'll need to meet the 100 point ID test when you apply for a variety of things. Make sure you have soft and hard copies of the necessary IDs.
