Hello Everyone,

My Wife and I are pregnant and nabigyan kami ng S56 about it.

isa sa mga hinihingi ay to inform DHA about expected due date and if plan namin to have the baby in Australia. See screenshot.

Not sure how to reply to the response.

Anyone may idea on how to reply to the S56? Thank you

@mikopara sorry I have no answer to your query, but I am also on the same scenario though I dont have yet s56 request yet as I have yet to inform immigration as I don't know if this is required given that I am still far from my due. If you don't mind, how did the immigration heard about your pregnancy po?
Also, what is your nominated occupation and when did you lodge your visa po? Also, are you onshore or offshore?

Regarding how to inform them - sharing this info:

If your child is born after you submit your application but before the Department decide on your visa, you must tell them as soon as possible.

Upon receipt of the information of your baby’s birth and required documents, your baby will be considered to hold any visa(s) that you and the other parent held when the baby was born.

Your baby will also be added to any unfinalised visa applications you may have before the Department at the time of your baby's birth.

If the baby doesn't have a passport yet, you can give them copies of your baby's passport pages later. However, you must send them as soon as you can.

▶If you currently have a visa application in ImmiAccount that is not yet finalised, sign in to ImmiAccount and upload these documents:

✅Form 1022 - Notification of changes in circumstances
✅a colour scan of your baby's Australian birth certificate
✅a colour scan of your baby's passport pages (showing photo, personal details, and passport issue and expiry dates)

▶It is free to add your baby to your visa. It is also free to add your baby to an unfinalised visa application and/or to link the visa to their passport.

Your baby’s visa(s) will have the same terms and conditions as per the visa(s) that you and the other parent held when the baby was born. This includes any Bridging visa(s).

The department will let you know if you need to do anything else. When you have given them everything they need, they will include the baby in any unfinalised visa applications you have before the Department, and the baby will be assessed along with yourself and any other dependents for a decision on your visa.

Your baby must, also, meet all requirements for visa grant. For example, this includes:

▶being included in a sponsorship (where applicable)
▶meeting the health requirement
▶having a valid passport for travel (where applicable).

⚠What if my visa application has already been refused by the time I notify the department of my baby’s birth?

In such cases, you must still notify us of your baby’s birth as soon as possible, even if your baby does not have a passport yet.

Your baby’s visa application will most likely be refused as well. This will, however, allow your baby to also seek merits review where applicable and ensure that your baby remains lawful in Australia while the application(s) for merits review are being considered.

If your baby has not had a refusal in their own right, the merits review tribunal will most likely have no jurisdiction to consider your baby's application for merits review until the Department has refused your baby first.

for me, i think you just really need to answer all their enquiries...

once you have done so, then they will proceed on the visa processing based on the answers on the query they gave you...

very informative yung binigay na details ni @Ozdrims, KUDOS to that!

also, we don't have any info on how/where you applied for the visa, where are you coming from, country of origin dahil TBH, medyo mahigpit sila sa philippines dahil sa history natin with TB which is a sad reality, thus the reason kaya madami sigurong tanong si CO...

this is just my opinion, para sa ikakapalagay ng loob mo, better to consult with an expert migration lawyer or a migration agent…

Hi, I know someone na nag-submit ng notification of change in circumstances nun May 1 informing her pregnancy and then na-s56 sya nung July about it. Like po nung screen shot nyo. What she did po ay nag submit sya ng cover letter na planning to deliver the baby in Australia at nag-attach din sya nung letter from the Doctor confirming her pregnancy and expected due date. Till now, waiting pa di po sya ng grant.

Like when po sya nag lodge ng visa?
Also, when yung expected due date nya po to deliver the baby? Is she an offshore visa applicant din po ba?

Hello po! Nasa EOI application palang po ako, I am currently pregnant po with my defacto partner. Doon po ba sa part na members to include in future application, should I put 1 or 2 na po since yung partner + baby ko po ang iinclude ko? Thank you po sa makakasagot and God bless.
