    Yung commitment to stay in the sponsoring state for 2 years lang po ang big difference. In terms of visa application process, you would need to get nominated first by a state to get an invitation to lodge a 190 visa.

    Hi @zaire! Any updates on your NSW application for SS? :D I'm getting really antsy with mine. haha. Nakapaghintay ako ng more than 2 months to get an invitation na walang pagmamadali, pero nung makareceive na ng invite, saka naman ako nawalan ng patience.

    same , both visas are valid for 5 years for re-entry purpose.

    As far as i know nsw lng available for mech eng. which is by selection kaya mo na siguro gawin un.

    Oh wait. Sorry I thought you were talking about fees that you would be paying your agent. There is an application fee of $300 for the NSW state nomination application when you get invited.

    @all...need ko lang po ng clarification kung tama pagkakaintindi ko...based po kasi sa case ko if ever na hindi ako makakuha ng 20pts sa PTE ang kababagsakan ko po ay Visa 190 (NSW)...ayun po sa pagkakainterpret ko tama po ba na mas matagal ang pagproprocess ng visa for visa 190 compared sa visa 189...sa NSW kasi plano namin if ever na Visa 190 kami...pakilinaw na lang po kung mali po pagkakainterpret ko

    1. Submit EOI thru skillselect and indicate na NSW ang prefer na state
    2. Antay na makareceive ng email from NSW
    3. Pagkanakareceive ng ITA for NSW magsusubmit ulit ng application for NSW nomination (pano po ito gagawin?thru skillselect din po ba?)
    4. Kapag nanominate that is the time na makakakuha ng ITA to apply for Visa 190

    May extra steps sa state nomination process bago ka makareceive ng ITA for 190 visa Pero based on processing timelines, mas priority ng migration team ang 190 over 189 applications so it more or less evens out the difference.
