I'm an electrical engineer and my gf is a nurse. We're also looking for odd jobs, just to get that local experience. Good luck sa job hunt, I'm sure something will come up.

Hello!

Malapit ba kayo sa Station Road or Westwood Drive? Sa Caroline Springs lang kami.

Tiyaga lang muna tutal one month palang tayo. Pero siguro mga entry level positions muna para madaling makapasok. Wife ko nakapasok na. Nakadalawa na syang agency. Yung una with Bluestone. In-assign sya sa Caterpillar. Ongoing casual daw but in reality gang 3 days lang ang stint nya. OJTish ang work kasi naka-leave yung employee. Sakto naman after nun tumawag naman ang Chandler Macleod. Ngayon in-assign sya for a 2-month contract with the Dept of Justice. Puro mga entry level positions ang in-apply-an nya sa mga agencies na yan.

Pero ako wala parin so far. Admin kasi ang background ng wife ko kaya narin siguro sinuwerte dahil madali lang makapasok mga ganon, generic kasi.

Hi @hard2handle. Yup malapit kami sa station road. Walking distance kami from Deer park station and St. Peter Chanel. Ang dami yatang pinoy sa Caroline Springs.

Got a 6 month job contract with an energy company 2 days ago. Si gf nakakuha din ng part time.

I'm sure you'll find a job soon.

Mag 2 months na kami ng hubby ko pero no luck padin. Im more on admin din, ung s chandler madali ba sila mag reply. Baka naman po may open slot pa sa dept of justice patanong po sa wife mo. May mga nakikita nga ako sa dept of justice sa apply direct pero no calls padin e. Sa seek naman hanggang phone interview palang din.

Good for you at GF mo. Ano po nakuha part time job ng GF mo and saang website. Ako kasi na tailor ko n CV ko pero wala gano na reply. Mag 2 mos na kami kaya kakakaba na dahil malaki na gastusin.

Mag-send lang po kayo sa Chandler Macleod. Di ko rin masasabi if mabilis ba sila mag-reply kasi depende lang din sa needs ng clients nila eh hehe.

eto pa po pala nakuha namin na advise. Call the agency. It's ok to make a follow up para makita nila na pro-active tayo sa job hunt.
