hello po, ask ko lang po kung lahat ba ng SS need talaga ng settlement funds?
or meron ding ibang state na hindi nirerequire ito?
Ibig sabihin po ba na kung hindi enough ang settlement funds,no otherway but to apply for 189?..

@iamyourangel08 i will answer your question based sa state na nag-approve sa akin (South Australia) there is no need, basta declare mo lang sa application form mo yung amount for example kung family of 3 including yourself declare 35k AUD (20K worth of assets and 15K cash.) they don't check naman very unlikely. (unless medyo sinipag yung officer mag check)

@sonsi_03, kasi po sir ang inaalala po ng agent namen is baka biglang magcheck si officer tapus wala kami maipakita..hehe..for sure denied na agad yun..hehe..
plan po sana namen magapply sa WA but as per their requirements need ng settlement funds ng 30K..kaya po instead na 190 yung iapply namen naging 189 na po.. ;(

@iamyourangel08 i think the proof of funds/settlement funds or whatever they call it is applicable to visa 189 as well and not only for visa 190. you need to show that you are financially capable in starting a new life in australia or in any country that you're going to migrate to.

hello po @BeBBang..nope..as per our agent hindi niya kami hinanapan ng settlement funds the time na nagsumbit siya ng EOI namen for 189..but when we informed her na we want to pursue the 190 she asked us to fill out the settlement funds form..that's why instead of 190, 189 na lang yung pinli namen..

@iamyourangel08 well that is even better if you apply for 189 you can choose which state you want to live and work no settlement funds needed.

@BeBBang i think it is the other way around po, 189 does not require settlement funds/proof of funds or show money.

@iamyourangel08 what some are doing is that they borrow money, put it in their bank accounts until such time that the state sponsorship is approved. You can try that if you want to go with visa 190.

@sonsi_03 i know po that visa 190 requires settlement funds. what i did not know is that visa 189 is not requiring it.

@iamyourangel08 depende yan sa susunod na fiscal year, ngayong taon medyo baligtad po ang sitwasyon, mas mabilis ang 189 kesa 190. Kaya mas mabilis ang processing ng 189 since early this year. For your case, if you choose 190 over 189 puwedeng puwede po pero kapag SA ang application mo, hindi ka po pwede mag apply ng isa pang EOI for other state, ewan ko lang sa WA.

@BeBBang yep, minsan lakasan na lang din ng loob pag hindi hinanapan eh di okay pag naghanap yun lang.

@BeBBang true. migrating costs a lot of money talaga we have to bear with it. pero sulit na sulit naman pagkatapos ng lahat ng sakripisyo.

Ako din anticipating sa pag-bukas ng fiscal year 2014-15. Sana naman wag malaglag ang nominated occupation ko sa CSOL dahil kaka-kuha ko lang ng skills assessment.

I hope the changes are for our favor.

@Bebbang , thanks for your advise..yep actually our agent advised na we push through muna sa 189 then after 1 month na wala pang invitation then she will withdraw our application and push through with 190..though we already planning to borrow money from both sides..hehe..just in case na maging ganun nga ang scenario.
@sonsi_03 yep sir..kaya po we decided to try our luck with 189..hoping lang na mainvite agad..hehe.thanks again sir.. ) )

Nakakalokang mag-antay. Hahaha. May nilabas ng update ang NSW. Pero by July 14 palang sila mag-open ng Occupation List nila.
