Hello good day everyone!

Why don’t you call them and ask what’s best way to do it

    Hello Maam,

Good luck……tutukan mo. I had a case recently which I fought hard for. I challenged the decision because it was obviously wrong. I found myself calling them every week for a month. Not until I escalated it to one of the supervisors and complained how frustrating and ridiculous things were, they would have not corrected the outcome. They used to be very efficient but not sure what’s happening with them. I feel for those who aren’t using an agent and have to deal with such service from them and most often than nit they aren’t taken seriously by them. All the best.

Dapat match yung duties and responsibilities niyo dun sa mapipili niyong ANZSCO code. Pinakarequired lang is yung Certificate of Employment na may duties and responsibilities.

Regarding Employment References/CoE requirement as per ACS

Contact details of signatory i.e. phone number and official email address (no personal email
    addresses)

okay lang ba either Official email address OR Phone number? mostly kasi ng nakuha kong COE official email lang nakalagay but no phone number. Okay lang po ba un?

Check mo ACS website, meron silang handbook for skills assessment. Yung thread na 'to is mostly for those na nakapag research na then need lang ng clarification

I'm a consultant/contractor so I pay my own SSS/Pagibig/Philhealth. The employer gives payslips for breakdowns with the companys name and mine but it's watermarked as not valid as official payslip. I still uploaded them, but seems ACS doesnt honor those so I only have my tax docs (2307) and bank statement as valid proofs.

Bank statements and / or official taxation records -- I guess kaya naman na isa lang dyan as long as may proof na freelancer ka talaga

Thanks in advance po

Check mo ACS website, meron silang handbook for skills assessment. Yung thread na 'to is mostly for those na nakapag research na then need lang ng clarification

    thank you po :)

Hello, asking for advice po. Ok lang po ba magsubmit ng digital copies ng ITR from employer as payment evidence kasi wala na po binigay samin na physical copy? And kelangan ko pa po ba pirmahan yung ITR?

Also, nagpaassess na po ako nung Jan 2017 sa ACS at gusto ko po sana magtry uli. Pero nung gumawa po ako ng new application, hindi na po tama and employment start/end dates ng work history ko :( ang naretain lang nila is yung month and year kaya laging end of month yung start/end date. May nakaexperience po ba neto and pano nyo naamend? Thank you!

digital copy naman talaga from employer yung ITR na sinusubmit for assessment. not necessary na may pirma kasi sakin walang mga pirma pero positive assessment naman

Also, nagpaassess na po ako nung Jan 2017 sa ACS at gusto ko po sana magtry uli. Panu pong naretain nila? nung ACS ba? Di kasi uso pagpaparenew sa ACS, kelangan mo magsubmit ulet ng new application and provide ng evidence.

Thanks po for the reply.

Finally got the result after 16 weeks. Bachelor degree (Minor) 6 years deducted exp. Didn't pursue the freelancing path as there was not enough time to get all supporting docs. Still thanks @jinigirl for helping us with our concerns here. I got a statdec instead for bank statements w/o employer's name, and supporting documents to back up the claim of payment evidence. Fortunately, all of my work experience were counted in.

Hello, Just wanted to get your insights.
    Here's my background:
-- I am a graduate of Bachelors Degree in IT in AMA Computer College
--I have a total of 7 years of Experience in Software/DevOps Engineer

Hindi ko pinursue mag paassess kasi:
--My school is in Section 2 and my degree is only equivalent to Diploma
--Diploma requires I think 5-6 years of experience and ACS will auto deduct pa na 2 years to it.

    Here's my plan:
--Take up Masters Degree in AU BUT I got an offer letter already which is Business and Project Management (and it's not really related to ICT), at gusto ko na sanang kunin kasi mura siya and I think attainable naman kasi meron naman ako dependent to work full time.

    Questions:
    1. After 2 years, Can I still take up a General skill assessment in ACS given my past working experience? pero ung qualification ko is equivalent na sa Higher Education since sa AU ko na ito aaralin?
    2. If an employer will sponsor me, hypothetically, and they will hire me as Software/Devops. Am I still required to take an ACS assessment para magrant ako ng sponsor visa?

    Salamat po sa tutugon.

Answering item #2 based on my experience- I did not undergo ACS Assessment when I was granted TSS 482 Medium, while my classmate who has the same nominated occupation and same visa stream undergone ACS Assessment. So I am not sure what are their basis.

1 you need to be very careful with this approach. Masters degree will only give you 5 additional points. It still doesn’t change your work experience claim nor resolve your concern about the possibility of getting a negative outcome due to insufficient experience. A lot of things can happen in that 2 years and the current policies may not be applicable by then. You mentioned the course isn’t related with IT, be mindful that when you apply for a student visa, you’ll need to justify why you want to do this course and prove to them that you will go back to your home country. The government is fully aware that a lot use student visa as a stepping stone to migrate to Australia. With the proposed changes in July, expect they will be stricter with student visas. There is a lot of uncertainty in this approach, not to mention the money you will spend. At the end of the day, you will have to ask yourself, is it all worth it for just extra 5 points? Vs staying in your job and continue to gain the relevant experience. You can get 5 points from CCL exam to compensate for your qualification from a section 2 institution. Note that because the masters isn’t related with IT, there’s no bearing at all with your skills assessment. And even if it’s related, it will be somehow tricky because the experience happened prior to the AQF degree qualification.

2this is so hypothetical - if you find a sponsor. No one really knows if you’ll find one and if so, there’s still no getting a way with skills assessment when you apply for PR eventually. You would rather take control of your chances/taking matters that you can control rather than waiting for something such as a sponsor in order to get there - if that makes sense 😉

Make sure to check your ACS dashboard kasi yung mga status changes are not notified via email. You'll only receive emails kung may request for additional docs si assessor or kung may result na. Mine took 16 weeks in total. Try to call their customer support, they'll give you the email address of the assessor that you can follow up with if nasa assessor na yung application. Also if you are in PH, better call them as early as 7am, thats 9am in Syd. Sa bandang hapon kasi inaabot minsan ng 30mins to 1hr on hold, and tumatakbo na yung intl call billing.

Thank you sa insights  Tama po, I can justify din ung course sa end ko kasi I am handling projects din. Mas mura kasi ito kesa Masters in IT/Software Engineering ang kunin ko. Anyway, tama po ba na total of 6 years lang ung dinededuct ni ACS?
