Urgent help... "deeming date" matter with DIAC

hi mga kapatid... need ko lang advise nyo regarding sa latest email ng DIAC sa akin. mali daw ang nilagay ko na points doon sa "Overseas skilled employment" sa Skillselect.

"We have reviewed your claims on which your invitation score was based and are satisfied that you made an inadvertent error when entering your details into SkillSelect about:

• claimed 10 points for overseas skilled employment, however, due to ACS deeming date, are only entitled to 5 points for overseas skilled employment"

Samantalang sa ACS... heto ang assessment sa akin:
The following employment after October 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 262112 (ICT Security Specialist) of the ANZSCO Code.
Dates: 10/06-06/14 (7yrs8mths)
Position: Engineer, IT Infrastructure Services

Assessed ako for 7yrs and 8mths. so I declared 10 points kasi pasok naman cya dito:
Equal to or greater than 5 Years and less than 8 Years (10 points).

pero as per their latest email... 5 points lang daw dapat. ano po ba ang "deeming date"? sana may makakatulong....

if maging 5pts lang... pasok pa rin naman ako kasi magiging 60pts (from 65). pero need ko lang sana clarification tungkol dito.

sa pagkakaintindi ko you only can count from oct 2010 till the date na send mo yung acs docs mo for assessment.. kailan ka ba nag pa assess? if let's say this month, that means ang ma claim mo lang na points is 4yrs and 4mos.. that's from oct.2010- feb 2015. which yes 5pts lang dapat iclaim mo.
careful lang sa pagclaim ng points kasi acs result ang ibase ng diac. goodluck
