Lodge 475 now or try luck later after July 1 for Permanent Resident Visas Application.

Hi guys i'm new here sa forum. In your own humble opinion ano masasabi nyo sa discussion title ko. Just for a background, I am contemplating if I will pursue my application for visa 475 or antayin ko nalang ang bagong procedure na magbabago after July 1, 2012. I have my state sponsorship, Vetasses assessment, all documents ready, IELTS (0 points) meron akong 6.5 na isa, wife IELT (4.5), credit card ready na. In short ready for lodgement na. But one thing na holding me back is I want a permanent resident visa na sana and I want to retake IELTS to get band 7. On the other hand i want to lodge na rin kasi baka di me ma invite the bagong processo, I mean sa pool of applicant around the world, what is my chance na ma invite. Iniisip ko pag di na invite I will lose my chance na maka pag lodge. So confused talaga me to Go or Not To GO.

Can you share your views if Go, Go Go na (2 weeks left) or not to Go.

If you have state sponsorship, you automatically get an EOI anyway (based on my understanding).

Don't hesitate. If I were you, once I have the points and the resources, I would lodge an application now.

a) Please consider your skills, kung nasa new SOL, at sa palagay mo ba marami mag aapply na same skills mo worldwide na magiging competitor mo sa occupation ceiling sa skill select..
b) kung hintayin mo ang skillselect.. baka mag expire nmn ang SS mo.. may expiry date yan diba?
c) If your points will be more than 70 after re-taking the ielts (band 7) then malaki ang chance sa skillselect..

in the end, you need to weigh your current scenario at anu ba mas mahalaga syo.. maka-alis na agad papuntang australia with 475, or mag take ng risk for a permanent visa via skill select pero mas matatagalan pa?

kung ako, i will apply now.. madali na lang mag apply ng PR after makarating sa australia with 475...

@Metaform, @lock_code2004, maraming salamat sa mga inputs nyo sir. Ayun 2-0 na. I have decided na mag lodge na. Mas matimbang din nga sa akin ang mag lodge na humingi lang ako ng opinyon ng mga masters dito sa forum. Napag isip isip ko andito na ang opportunity at mahirap siguro ma invite eh considering madame competitor worldwide. Besides di ko na maximize yung points sa age eh, kasi over 33 na ako at wala rin kasiguruhan yung IELTS. Go! Go! Go! na..So Help Me God!!!

Reply to @troy: Kung pwede na pong maglodge then go ka na. Yung hirap kasi baka pag inantay mo yung skillselect e di ka mapili then pagsisisihan mo pa yung naging decision mo.
2 years lang naman yung waiting time for the PR application kaya sandali lang yun. What's important right now is yung makarating ka lang muna ng Oz.
What state ba sir yung nag sponsor sa inyo?

Eto kinakatakot ko eh saktong 60 points ako ngayon walang IELTS band 7 so what is my chance na mapili .. pano na ba ang SS ngayon, I checked the site of VICTORIA and andun ang occupation ko swerte pa din pero pag nakapasa ba ako pano ako maiinvite at tsaka pano na ba ang SS ngayon, ikaw ang maglolodge or sila na mamimili?...

@troy If I were you, I'll go 475 importante makarating dun.. God Bless.. ang RSMS ngayon eh 4 yrs valid sa bagong ruling..

Wait for the changes na lang....alanganin na rin kasi hehe.

saka sabi sa mga migration sites, mas magiging "efficient" at mabilis na raw ang processing pag naimplement na ang skill select.

Kung bata ka po and di maapektuhan yung points mo sa age mo po, go ahead and wait for the new skill select process. Pero kung ready na po lahat sayo, i-lodge mo na po ngayon.

@pogingnoypi: naku Sir 32 na po ako ngayon taon at mag IELTS pa lang po ulit next month.. sana maganda ang kahihinatnan

@cinnamon20, 5 points lang naman malalagas sayo kung above age of 32 ka na...nababalanse naman yan sa work experience points in fact, mas marketable pa nga sa Australia yung hinog na sa trabaho kaysa yung bata hehe

@lokijr: Bro thanks for the positivity that your giving me at sa mga kaibigan ko din dito.. Eh kasi baka mas paborana ang mas bata tapos mataas ang IELTS eh.. Ayokong maging negative pero nakakainis to think na pataasan ang EOI eh.. though yes may mas bata nga sa kin at mataas ang IELTS pero ang work experience eh mas mababa gaya ng officemate ko dito na nag IELTS na walang aral aral pero mataas ang score pero 5 yrs pa lang sya dito.. need your expert advice regarding 475, nkatake 2 na si hubby ny ielts nya at sad to say na mababa lang un nakuha nya (L-6, R-5.5, W-6.5,S-6.5=OBS 6).Aminado kami ni hubby na hopeless na to retake again for 3rd time un ielts kasi u never know kung alin sa 4 components un sasabit kaya ask sana kami advice nyo kung pwede ba kami sa 475 at pwede kaya un ielts nya sa visa na un?.Ayaw na rin ni hubby magretake kasi accepted nya na di nya na kaya itaas pa un score nya.Any advice will greatly appreciated.thanks in advance!

Reply to @Jenny_sg: Hi Jenny. Sad to hear the bad news. Try no po mag research about sa 475 SS sa WA at SA. Sila po yung mga states na tumatanggap ng sponsorship sa may mga mababang IELTS scores. Kung all 6 po yung scores nyo on all subtests e pwede pa siguro kayo makaabot sa SS application. Need kasi sa DIAC e all 6 on all components. kaya medyo tagilid po kayo sa 5.5 na score nyo sa reading.

@k_mavs thank you sa reply! civil engineering draftsman un nominated skill nya kaso un ielts talaga un problema namin.Pwede magtanong uli kung papano makikita un ielts requirement ng WA or SA?Un first ielts score is ganito L-6, R-7, W-6.5, S- 5) tapos un panagalawa intake eh bumaba pa un reading score though ok n sana un Speaking nya. kaya ayaw nya na magtake pa.Hirap talaga ng ielts:(

Reply to @Jenny_sg: Try nyo na lang po maghanap ng employer for your hubby.if medyo matagal na yung experience nya sa work e baka may makita syang employer na willing magsponsor for an working visa to Au. Tama po wag nyo na muna ituloy yung sa agent nyo.pag gusto nyo pong ituloy yung application nyo e punta lang kayo dito sa forum para magtanong tanong.

Reply to @troy: Naging problema ko din po yang problema nyo. Ok na ksi sna sken kso nabitin sa ielts. Naghehesitate ako maglodge ksi gusto ko tlga sa NSW. Pero since andito na yung state sponsorship. Maglodge na dn po ako ng visa.

Sobrang salamat din tlga sa mga forumers dito. Sabi kasi nila mahirap na tlaga mag-risk sa skill select lalo na hindi tau masyado sigurado sa mga changes na darating. Magtyaga na lng tau sa kung ano meron tau. Mabilis lang naman yan ang importante nga nsa OZ ka na.
