186 Direct Entry Stream | ACS Assessment

Hello 🙂

I would just like to seek advice - baka meron na po dito may similar situation..

I'm currently on 457 Visa and we are now planning on lodging my PR application under 186 Direct Entry Stream since 11 months palang ako. I know that ACS assessment and IELTS are required for this path way. I currently have both however they are expiring on 19th and 27th May 2016, respectively.

Now, my employer is looking into lodging my PR application mid march. So technically, during lodgement, the ACS and IELTS assessments are still valid, however the processing takes 6 months - on average, to complete. Which may mean that when a case officer is assigned, there's a high chance that they are already expired. Can I still use my existing ACS assessment and IELT result in this case or should I need to secure new ACS assessment and take IELTS again?

@aanover lodge mo agad PR application mo as soon as your employer has the transaction or reference number. Pwede naman yun kahit wala pa decision ung application ni employer.

Mine was the same except I applied on temporary transition. I was with the company for over 3 years na so di na kelangan assessment from ACS. When they lodged the sponsorship, I just asked for copy of the acknolwedgement from DIBP and lodged my PR a couple of days after.

My PR came 5 minutes after the sponsorship got approved. Waited 5 months. Good luck!

@blahblah, Thanks for the information. So as long as valid pa sila from the time of Lodgement, even magexpire sila while waiting fro the decision ok lang po tama?
