    @maliboo thanks sa sagot, worried kasi ako baka mareject application ko. madami kc akong naging sakit dati then consider obese pa ako per BMI. asthmatic ako but i'm not high blood nor diabetic. pero may scar ang lungs ko, for the past 20 years meron na ako nitong scar. clear naman sputum test ko. as a public school teacher, requirement ang yearly medical, so ganoon din kadalas ang sputum test ko. i'm over 40 na rin, kaya hesitant ako to push through with my application.

    @maliboo siguro yung DIAC, pero yung HOC o Global health, im not sure. di ko nga alam anong reason for referral. supe discriminating naman pag asthma lang.

    26/06/13- 07/07/2013 - constant email to embassy and not a single response.
    08/07/2013 - email from embassy stating that my application was only lodged on 30th May, and they will afford priority processing, but cannot guarantee to finalise it on my course commencement date. No information provided if I have allocated CO.
    08/07/2013 - email from embassy that my medical had been referred to Global Health or HOC. No idea exact date referred.
    09/07/2013 - email from DIAC that my medical has been referred on 20/06/2013.
    09/07/2013 - email to school. no response received.
    11/07/2013 - present - email to DIAC for update. no response till now...
    12/07/2013 - visa grant. Praise be unto God!!!!

    @guro_ako may maintenance meds po ba kau?if hndi nmn po expensive ang treatment or maintenance nyo po I don't think it would be a problem :) I think po despite sa doubts nyo po sa application nyo and if you'll get a grant po..any decision that you think would drastically change your life for the better is worth taking the risk po :) just prepare yourself po for the medical exam drink lots of vitamins hehe :) good luck po!

    Aug 5 - emailed diac that i have to be able to attend uni on the 12th otherwise i would need to defer my course.
    Aug 6 - they might have read my email and issued a grant at 2pm
    Aug 7 - received sms that they have dispatched documents thru courier

    @cookie18 I swear exage nga..prng ineevaluate ka sa future complications na pwede mo mdevelop dhl lng sa condition mo. ako din eh narefer kc mdmeng pwdng mgng complications ung sken.. 0.1 lng sa lab test ang kulang ko to be normal..na pwdeng dhl sa stress eh ngng gnun grrr!kapagod mgintay :( hang in there

    @cookie18 same tayo. I dont know why na-refer medicals ko sa GH, eh asthma lang dineclare ko tapos okay lang daw yun accdg sa pulmonologist ng SLEC. other lab results are normal. wait wait na lang tayo. and pray.

    then ang tagal din naupload ng medical ko.

    @amedina tagal na din ng sa iyo na refer pasok ka na sa 8 weeks
    ako seems like ngayon pa lang na refer so 2mos wait pa ako by the
    looks of it.

    @cookie18 naku! Mg.email ka sa kanila bukas. At e.ask mo if ur on priority list pra nmn makita kaagad ng medical cherva ung exam result mo. Wag kang maging hopeless. U still have till monday next week to receive the grant and fly :)

    @KG2 negative AFB po, but wala pang result for C&S.

    July 2, 2013 - informed for medical

    Sa mga naghihintay jan, sana lumabas na yung mga visa nyo. Parang ang hirap maghintay ng ganyan katagal.

    As for me, sa February intake na lang ako. Yun na ang nasa offer ng UWS. So apply and wait na lang ako. Sana walang hassle sa medical. From what I read here, medyo mahigpit pala. I will stick around this thread and guys please update your status so we can learn from your experience.

    To the one over 40 who is thinking twice, I suggest you try it if you can afford it. Or you'll end up regretting because you did not try. You only live once. It's never too late to do anything you want.

    June 23 - received email from DIAC stating "we have recently received your husbands medical clearance".
    Aug 1 - request form 815 health undertaking passed it on the same day :)
    Aug 5 - emailed diac that i have to be able to attend uni on the 12th otherwise i would need to defer my course.
    Aug 6 - they might have read my email and issued a grant at 2pm
    Aug 7 - received sms that they have dispatched documents thru courier

    May 21 - lodged visa application
    May 23 - DIAC acknowledged application
    May 31 - Medicals NHSI
    June 4 - NHSI submitted results
    June 10 - Medicals referred to MOC June 4
    June 25 - was informed we needed addtl tests for hubby
    June 28 - hubby's meds uploaded and referred to HOC AUSTRALIA

    COngrats @hyacinth!:) did you receive a text or an e-mail that your visa was granted?

    May 6 - received COE from USQ
    June 8 - sent application to embassy thru agency
    June 19 - acknowledgement letter received
    June 20 - medicals done at NHSI Cebu.
    June 25 - medicals uploaded
    July 13 - Visa granted. Thank you Lord!

    Guys this might be some hopes, but i guess it depends on subclass, or if that was the

    @franz25 Can I ask if NHSI directly referred it to Global Health, or you were informed that it was referred the time it was uploaded to DIAC system (May 3) or when it was seen by DIAC (May 20). I just want to know possibilities of the length my medical clearance will be processed.

    Base on your timeline:
    May 3 - Nationwide Forwarded Medical Results to E-medical Systems Australian Embassy - Global Health Unit for medical clearance

    May 20 - Received email enquiry reply from K. AURELIO - DIAC VISA Office informing me that "the application is still being assessed against the relevant legislatative criteria and still awaiting the medical clearance from Global Health Unit (GHU) in Australia for a referred medical results.

    May 23 - Received email enquiry reply from K. AURELIO - DIAC VISA Office advising me that Global Health Unit has put my medical clearance finalization on PRIORITY LIST and to advise me the soonest they receive feedback from GHU

    May 27 - Received email enquiry reply from J. AMISTAD - DIAC Visa Office with Position No. ----+++ informing me l "medical assessment has been successfully finalised with request to forward s completed Form 815 Health Undertaking

    (Subclass 572, July 10 Intake, latest possible arrival July 18)

    01/12/12 - IELTS test
    03/13/13 - school application
    27/03/13 - offer letter
    15/05/13 - enrol/ pay tuition fee

    08/07/2013 - email from embassy stating that my application was only lodged on 30th May, and they will afford priority processing, but cannot guarantee to finalise it on my course commencement date. No information provided if I have allocated CO.
    08/07/2013 - email from embassy that my medical had been referred to Global Health or HOC. No idea exact date referred.
    09/07/2013 - email from DIAC that my medical has been referred on 20/06/2013.
    09/07/2013 - email to school. no response received.
    11/07/2013 - present - email to DIAC for update. no response till now...
    12/07/2013 - visa grant. Praise be unto God!!!!

    (DIY Application)
    May 24 - Lodged Student Visa at VIAC
    May 27 - Acknowledged my Docs thru SMS
    May 29 - Emailed me to undergo Medical
    May 30 - Medicals done @ NHIC
    June 04 - Uploaded my Med Results to AU-Emb as per NHIC
    June 06-21 - Constant/Everyday email to DIAC
    June 27 - Medical Results uploaded 4 June
    July1 - Follow up again
    July 6 (Sat) - CO Allocated
    July 9 - sent/asking Visa status update to my CO
    July 9, (PM) - We seek to finalise your visa application in the next 3 days- replied from Embassy
    July 12 - Embassy asked for update COE/Late arrival letter from my course provider
    July 15 - submit my updated COE to my CO Mr as per advised my Ms
    July 16 - acknowledged my submitted docs and they're aware of my new commencement date and my papers still on process.....
    July 15-17 - emailed them for status update and no reply since 16 July....
    July 22 - DIAC Emailed me and asked for bank history for
    July 23 - submitted Affidavit of support, bank history from my auntie
    July 25 - received a visa refusal letter..
    Reason for Visa Refusal
    These funds were not considered because the applicant has not provided evidence of regular income from her financial supporter.  
    July 26 - what a birthday present I received from Air21!!!

    Refusal letter made after 61days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
