Ah no @mandand - pumunta ako kanina personally to submit my appeal and there was a short question and answer from the personnel there as to why I am asking for this.

Ang sabi ko was, natatakot ako that it may be to late to wait for the CO endorsement for the PCC as we are not entirely sure when they will communicate to us. Eh, i mentioned na rin na aalis na kami permanently sa island by December...

I hope papayag naman sila on this request, mabuti na rin at least wala na iisipin pa.

SG is good but sooner or later, you may want to go elsewhere. Whether it be back to Pinas or some other country depends on ones preference...

Kami, eheheh... we don't think much about that kasi baka ma-jinx but the reason why we decided to pursue this application to Oz was because of a trip to Melbourne last June.

@mandand actually kelangan mo ng letter requesting for the PCC pero baka pde ka makiusap dahil meron ka naman application. bukod dun, ang kelangan passport, 2 passport photos and sg pass mo. libre naman ang appeal, ang application ang meron bayad. goodluck.

@legato09 mahirap nga pero yun iba nakakuha bago pa sila mabigyan ng request from CO. kun kaya mo din yun, mas maganda para at least kapag hiningi syo mabibigay mo na agad at hindi na kelangan pa mag-antay.

kung ma-frontload mo yung SPF clearance, mas maganda. ako ngayon ko lang nakuha, so halos 2 weeks din hinintay ko ulit mula nung CO assignment. kung alam ko lang pwde i-front load sana ginawa ko na habang nag-hihintay ng CO.

@LittleBoyBlue would you recommend na kumuha na hanggat mas maaga kahit wala pa advise ng CO?

@Gerrymontano hindi po ba specific yung CO when it comes to the dates kung kailan yung clearance ginawa at kung kailang nila ni request?

@legato09 kung gusto mo mapabilis, yes. kasi may nakapag-frontload eh, nag-file muna ng appeal, tapos nung na-approve tsaka nag-apply. kung di ka naman nag-mamadali, hintayin mo na lang yung CO mo, pag may-letter ka na, punta ka SPF sa Outram Park, tapos hintay ulit 2 weeks. Make sure lang na i-request mo na i-pick-up mo personally yung clearance at wag i-mail sa DIAC, kasi kung i-mail mo additional 2 weeks na naman yun. At least kung pick-up, scan and email lang tapos na :-)

sabi nya - "well, you can also request to pick it up if you want... just make sure you specify it at the time of application..."

ayus toh, around 2wks tipid...

@legato09 - boss depende sa iyo ito basta ang importante get first your fingerprints sa PH Embassy; afterwards may option ka whether you will send it directly to the NBI HQ or ipadala mo sa kamag-anak in Manila for them to process.

For me gusto ko less hassle sa mga utol ko sa Manila so pina LBS ko nalang... It cost me 15SGD to send it plus 200/clearance. Tapos ang processing within 3 days and it is already in transit. Hopefully I shall receive it by this week...

Kasama na sa 200 ito... They send it via airmail so mga less than 2 wks darating na yan!

Yung submission ba ng police clearance after ng medical?

This is entirely up to you... But bear in mind that if you are getting a Singapore Police Clearance, this may be complicated as they don't usually entertain any request unless there is a valid reason or an endorsement from your case officer.

The easiest way of getting your SG PCC is to wait for the endorsement from your case officer.
