I am keeping up with friends i have not met in a few months , im sure i have tried getting into hard to reach places in SG to try out their take of a popular hawker food like fishballs soup, Orn Nhee, prata ,bak kut teh, kopitiam coffee.
Meeting friends for a blaze in the parks or hiking or island hopping and once that can’t keep me busy forgetting about Grants - i 📕 a ticket down to my home country -it is the best place to keep my sanity and recharge.

Bro, congrats on your lodgement. Assuming you will need similar waiting time, medyo mahaba haba pa. Learn to "love" your work muna if you want to avoid the hassles of updating your circumstances.

Try to have more planned holidays and activities. Since we are in SG, most of the countries are within the 5hours flight time. (guilty here, most of the time nauuwi sa pinas ang holiday instead of exploring other countries).

Go back to your roots, spend more time with them.

Do those unfinished projects that you wanted to try before.

Try those michelin rated hawkers/eating places. (theres alot in Chinatown area).

Save save save, by the time you have your big move, less pressure on quickly finding a source of income, easier to purchase cars / properties.

Ya the work keeps me busy on weekdays, but it’s mostly the weekends- it’s the same routine in SG.

Get your point, may be will plan some stuff around.

Oo bro. Imagine before 7 months lang waiting period, pero as they were processing, that 7 became 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 and now upto 16 mos. Hopefully the end is in sight this week or next week. Praying and hopeful.

Personally, I just think of the brighter side that I'm working in SG while waiting for my grant. Given this, I'll be able to save better compared to if I'm working in PH. Not to belittle working in PH, but just saying better possibility to save for the big move.

SG and AU are somehow similar as to their transport system, terminologies/discipline, driving, etc. They just differ in the weather. I just think of this waiting phase as some sort of preparation to experiencing first world countries' way of life- being exposed to multi-cultural people. Because when you settle in AU, it's not just you, you have to adapt to the country and the people. That's the main reason we emigrate, right? Otherwise, we stay in our home countries.

Musta sir, parang maganda yung wollongong. Beach side.

Hi Sirs, sched po namin to move from SG to Wollongong this coming Aug 4 2024. Ask ko lang pano po yung best way to travel with all the luggage (8 luggage for 4 pax.) from Sydney to Wollongong?

    https://chauffeurlive.com/forms/booking.php

Hi @bbsdgr8 if it helps - klook seem to have some airport transfer options too- but they seem very expensive for SYD to Wollongong route :( . And as far as I have researched, trains allow max 2 bags (within certain sizes) per passenger. Not sure if you can work around that and use it to your advantage.

(or perhaps if it's cost-effective, consider storing your non important luggage at the airport and picking it up some other time)

Thanks po and to @von1xx as well. Nakahanap n kmi ng way. mag rent a car n lng kmi from klook na 7 seater then yung friend ko from sydney yung mag drive samin. this way mas mura yung babayaran namin around 130SGD in total.

pag ganyang arrangement, saan i drop off yung car? Anong app kayo nag rent?

Ang pick up at drop off location ay sa airport kasi mas mahaba yung hours na open yung office dun compared sa ibang locations minsan until 5pm lng.

Thanks po and to @von1xx as well. Nakahanap n kmi ng way. mag rent a car n lng kmi from klook na 7 seater then yung friend ko from sydney yung mag drive samin. this way mas mura yung babayaran namin around 130SGD in total.

pag ganyang arrangement, saan i drop off yung car? Anong app kayo nag rent?

Ang pick up at drop off location ay sa airport kasi mas mahaba yung hours na open yung office dun compared sa ibang locations minsan until 5pm lng.

Thanks! Will do it next time na mas mahaba ang visit namin! Thank you.

Good morning guys! Sana may nakakaalam dito. Valid pa rin kaya yung state nomination letter kahit last year pa yun?

Item #2 po sa image sa baba.

Baka may nakaexperience lang, bale with the recent update po ng priority occupations mukang matatagalan pa talaga yung 190 grants. So bale ex ofw po ako, now nasa sg as dependent ng epass. So plano ko po umuwi sa pinas nalang muna to study, upskilling ba. Ang mahal kc d2. Lolz.

We are family of 4 from SG, recently received SA invite for 491 Visa.
Ask ko lang po if need both Police Clearance and NBI Clearance isubmit to lodge visa ?
Another question is required po ba magStudy with 491 all visa holders?
    Salamat po!

NBI clearance for PH , COC naman sa SG

Study requirement? walang requirement like student visas na you need to keep studying with limited work rights. 491 you can send the kids to public schools, their visas are tied to the main applicant - you can live, work and study in the regional area for 3 years minimum
