    I was thinking to do open a Au dollar account like OCBC or citibank... then doon na lng access sa australia.. possible kaya yun?

    Hi @GoToWaOZ , napaisip lang ako, may advantage po ba kung mg submit na ng EOI kahit pending pa result ng skills assessment? I tried a bogus EOI account, pwede nman, but assumed lang ang skills assessment date and result. Hihintayin pa rin nila ang Vetassess advice tama po? Kse if it will expedite the process e mag ssubmit na po ako (atat mode) ;))
    If you put a bogus date sa VETASSESS result, ang ibig sabihin nito you were not truthful in your EOI data... Remember, this can be a ground for disqualification.

    @psychoboy , so kelangan tlga hintayin ko muna ang Vetasse result db? anyways asikasuhin ko meantime ang clearances from Qatar and UAE..mukhang madugo ang proseso #:-S
    Hi @rei_ya I agree po with @pschoboy. I strongly discourage you to put anything bogus in any of your applications.

    In my case, I submitted an EOI before my vetassess results came out but I indicated "NO" to the question, "Does the client have a suitable skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority?".

    My objective in submitting an EOI earlier than my Vetassess result is to see what I need to prepare for...besides, di ko pa na discover ang mahusay na pagtutulungan at suporta ng mga taga pinoyau nung mga panahon na yun kaya feeling ko eh nalilito ako ng time na yun.

    Info lang po, sa SG based na nag work dati sa Qatar at Dubai, here are the steps pra makakuha QA and UAE clearance (wla ito sa website anywhere, so i called them )

    UAE
    1. Fingerprints sa CID Singapore (SGD 15) (info on their website)
    2. Bring fingerprints doc to Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Singapore for legalisation (SGD 10) (info on their website)
    3. Bring legalised fingerprints to UAE embassy-Singapore for authentication (SGD 70)
    4. Collect the authenticated fingerprints a day later. They will give further instruction daw on how and where to send all docs. (authenticated fingerprints is only one of them, at un lang yta papel ng UAE embassy-SG, then ikaw na bahala sa next steps)
    5. Send authenticated fingerprints to UAE plus additional docs required by courier or posts (I need more info here). Processing time unknown

    Qatar
    1. Fingerprints sa CID Singapore (SGD 15) (info on their website)
    2. Bring fingerprints doc to Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Singapore for legalisation (SGD 10) (info on their website)
    3. Bring legalised fingerprints to Qatar embassy-SG ,plus orig and copy of passport with qatar visa stamp, orig and copy of recent passport, letter addressed to qatar embassy-SG (stating reason for request, period stayed in qatar, contact details). 4nos photos red or blue background size 4x6, pay fee SGD24.
    4. Qatar Embassy-SG to do necessary logistics, wait 2+ months for release.

    Wla pa ko experience jan, based yan sa sinabi ng embassies when i called them. Will update once I complete the process.

Parang ni-ready lang para pag may skills assess. result na, go na! at kaya nman pla same day nung Jan 31 ay go agad sa EOI! Might do the same, bka sa sobrang excitement pgka receive ng vetases ay mamali sa pag fill up..hehe..good luck, malapit ka na! ako praying for super fast vetasses result!

    28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
    12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
    15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
    15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
    27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.
    16-03-13: Hubby arrived Australia.
    18-03-13: Our RSMS 857 visa granted.. (nothing to ask more)

Until such time na may result na ang vetassess ko at SS WA, then pwede na ako mag apply ng visa 190..yun yung update ko sa EOI ko ng January 2013 :)

    @GoToWaOZ , i tried what u did, okey nga din noh.. Just in case may interested na employer. anyway 2 yrs nman valid ang EOI account. Pero sa SS WA kelnagn tlga may vetases na db, so u waited muna? Curious lang din, di ka pa nag lodge ng visa (per timeline mo)?

    anyway ill submit EOI today, "park" lang din muna..para ready na pglabas ng vetases result..

    salaamt tutik. explore ko pang options ko. mas mabilis kaya kung 189 kesa sa 190? any inputs ka-sg?

    @carrie, nakita ko sa google spreadsheet thread na ung mga subclass 190 successful applicants inabot lang ng within 6months. ung iba nga 3-4months lang.

    i realized na di pala ako pwede sa 189 kasi wala sa SOL nominated occupation ko kaya 190 lang talaga. pray lang na hwag mawala ung occupation sa list :)
