ADELAIDE MOBILE MISSION 2017
The Philippine Embassy in Canberra will be conducting its annual Adelaide Mobile Mission on Friday 7 April 2017 and Saturday 8 April 2017. During this visit, the Embassy will assist with passport and dual citizenship matters. The venue is the Enfield Uniting Church Hall, located at 2 Park Street, Sefton Park SA 5083. It is by appointment only - walk-ins will not be accommodated.
EPASSPORT BIOMETRICS
All applicants must submit a completed application form and send it to the Philippine Embassy by 1st of February 2017. The form can be downloaded here:
https://www.philembassy.org.au/downloadable-forms. Forms must be submitted to the Philippine Embassy at 1 Moonah Pl. Yarralumla, ACT 2600.
Please attach the following documents and ensure they are all certified by a Justice of the Peace:
Completed ePassport application form
Photocopy of data page of the current passport
Photocopy of Australian visa
For women changing status from Single to Married, please also attach a certified copy of your Report of Marriage or NSO authenticated Marriage Certificate.
All ePassport applicants are advised to be at the mobile mission 30 minutes prior to their appointment time.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE MOBILE SITE
Your original, old or current passport
Postal money order for ePassport service fee in the amount of $118.00 payable to "Philippine Embassy Canberra”
Families with several members applying for their passports may combine the total fee in one money order.
All passports are printed in Manila. From the time of application, it takes about 8 to 10 weeks for the Embassy to receive the new passports from Manila. Once available, The Embassy will post on its website (www.philebassy.or.au) the list of applicants whose passports are ready for release.
To claim your ePassport by mail or post, applicants are advised to send the following to the Philippine Embassy at 1 Moonah Pl. Yarralumla, ACT 2600 through registered mail or express post platinum.
Original, old or current passport
Photocopy of official receipt
The old passport will be cancelled by the Embassy. It will be mailed back to the applicant together with the new passport.

OATH-TAKING FOR DUAL CITIZENS
Oath-taking for Dual Citizens will take place on Saturday 9 April 2016 at 3pm. The venue is the Enfield Uniting Church Hall, located at 2 Park Street, Sefton Park SA 5083.
WHAT IS DUAL CITIZENSHIP?
Dual citizenship is the status whereby a person is concurrently regarded as a citizen of two countries. Former natural-born Filipinos who have acquired citizenship of another country (for example, Australia) can reacquire their Philippine citizenship through the provision of the Philippine law Republic Act 9225 (Citizenship Re-acquisition and Retention Act of 2003). Persons who were naturalized Filipinos and had acquired the citizenship of another country are not eligible for Philippine dual citizenship.
All applicants must submit a completed application form and send it to the Philippine Embassy by 1st of February 2017. The form can be downloaded here:

The Embassy may require additional documents to verify certain circumstances of the petitioner.
