New passport number, how to update visa?

Hi po ask ko lang po, kakarenew ko lang po ng philippine passport dito sa sydney at nakuha ko na po siya. Sabi daw po need ko i update yung australian immigration para sa bago ko po passport number at mabago yung visa grant details ko po. Paano ko po sila ma uupdate?

P.S. Hindi po ako pwede mag update gamit ang Immi account kasi po resident visa meron po ako.

Ano po need na iattach na document? Need po ba ipa certified copy?

what do you mean resident visa kaya di pwede sa immiaccount? u can even update visitor visa through immiaccount.

complete form 929 and post it to dibp together with a copy of your old and new passport and the visa grant letter.

Alternatively, you can still travel, just bring your old and new passport together with the visa grant and the airline staff will update it for you.

you can print coloured copy. actually kahit hindi, since they have a record of your old passport namn na

@redcastillo actually u can just email immigration directly. Just scan both your old and new passport and the form 929. Ganyan ginawa ko, and mas mabilis pa ma update kpag thru email po. Based sa own experience ko

Hello po, What if ayaw ko na po sa PH passport tapos hindi naman kami aalis sa AU for 4 years straight, ok lang bha hindi na kukuha ng PH passport ulit? hehehehe

@Kris_New ok lang naman di magrenew ng passport pero laking hassle kung bigla mo kailanganin lumabas ng AU at expired ang passport mo. Also additional identification document ang passport.

If you emailed the old and new passports, his long normally bago nila ma update yung details?

@xiaolico You can update your passport through immi account. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t take long.

@Cassey I don’t have an immi account kasi. I did it through email. Did it on Thursday, Di pa updated. Someone said kasi 2 days. I was just wondering.
