Master of Nursing Practice

Hi Kapamilya,

In currently in Philippines but I'd love to get exposed and work with diabetic organizations in Australia. Although Im not in the medical field being a business major and a sales/customer-oriented person, I've been a type 1 diabetic for 15 years. I got amazed with Australia's healthcare system especially for diabetics. In order for me to get more exposed and hoping to join Medtronic Australia as a clinical specialist for the diabetes team, the tertiary requirement is to be a nurse/dietitian/pharmacist/paramedic.

Im open to study 2 years of nursing. I know Monash University in Melbourne offers Master of Nursing practice for those who dont have nursing background. Anyone who took this course? I'd like to ask how was the transition coming from non medical background to this practice because to go thru this take a lot of money and effort. I hope to gauge myself if I can make it.

Would also like to ask anyone involved / working in diabetic organizations. I'd love to connect with type 1 diabetics too! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!

❤️, JCoco
