yes bryann, nag work kase ako doon not related sa IT, but i did studied part time sa Kangan Batman Tafe school...
Teka lang sandali. Kangan Batman Tafe School ba kamo? As in Batman? BATMAN? [amused]

Diploma graduates fall under Group B, and requires 5 or 6 years work experience. See here. Your CCNA certification might also come in handy.

If you have 400 AUD to spare, give it a try. Send them everything you got. Malay mo pumasa, like what I did.

    - Direct hire or Agency or mag study or migrate or ________ ???

Software / QA engineer at SG with 4 yrs exp. po ako.
    BSECE grad / MSIT candidate

Welcome, @boybawang26. Pwede kong sagutin yung first and third questions mo.

    (1) Ang procedure kasi sa pag-apply ng migrant visa in a nut shell is as follows: Skills Assessment and IELTS -> State sponsorship (if necessary) -> Visa application to DIAC (Australian Immigration). Para sa mga IT pros, dadaan muna sila sa skills assessment via Australian Computer Society at sila ang magde-determine kung suitable ang work and education credentials ng candidate. Kung makapasa sa ACS assessment, that's the only time you can actually apply for a migrant visa. Oo, ang agency ay dadaan din sa abovementioned procedure on your behalf.

    (3) Mali yata yung question mo. Anyway, the best way para makakuha ng work ay apply, apply, apply online and make sure na tailor fit yung creds sa required ng job market. Nalilito ka between finding work and getting a visa. Most people spend time and resources arranging their PR visa before finding a job, while some apply for student or employer visa so they can enter Oz. Kung gusto mo ng permanent visa na hindi dependent sa trabaho, go for skilled migrant (PR) visa (175 or 176).

    Hi,

    Thanks po sa info.

    (1) May mga websites po ba kayong alam na karamihan ng mga post na work ay nag-sponsor?
    (2) Parehas lang po ba ang process ng OZ at NZ?
    (3) Pag may Visa na sa NZ pde din mag work sa OZ?

    Thank you po :)

    i can answer questions;

    2) hindi pa pareho ang process as of today.. but starting Jul1 2012, magiging pareho na ang application.. you will submit EOI and then pag selected, you can proceed to apply for visa..
    3) you need to be a NZ citizen to be able to work in AU without restrictions.. but AU PR visa holder can live and work in NZ..

Yesterday I received a suiteable assessment from ACS.

eto po yung email ng ACS in response to my query:

    Dear Rhoderich,

Thank you for your email. You will need to contact DIAC in regards to the points the will award for your experience. AS the ACS does not award the points we cannot advise what you will receive for your experience.

    =======

    maraming salamat!

    Hi,

Has anyone here worked as a Desktop Support / IT Onsite Engineer? pwede kaya ako magpa assess under ICT Business Analyst?

Im working here in Singapore for about 3yrs now.. ang experience ko sa Pinas is more on technical Support in call centers pero dito sa Singapore Support but local IT ng company and field/site work, not calls.

    Can anyone advise? :)

meron kasi ICT Customer Support Officer - 313112 but ang assessing body is TRA, parang technician xa.. im not sure if mas advisable pa yan na route or i should go for ICT BUsiness Analyst if pwede namn ma 'tweak' ang job details..

Can anyone PM me for advise.. thanks!! ^_^

Restating my question... I hope someone on this thread can help me....

Hello po, with regards to certified documents... I noticed eto yung requirements

    - The words “Certified True Copy of the Original”
    - The original signature of the certifying person
    - The name, date & provider or registration number or designation (eg: Police Officer) of the certifying person legibly printed with the signature.

    And yung reminder:
    - The ACS is unable to accept:
    - Photocopies of certified copies
    - If the certifying officers identity is unclear or the certifier’s contact details are not legible

Kase yung mga napuntahan ko walang address and phone number yung stamps nila - just their license/ registration info.

    hi aolee

as per this thread in Philippines.com.au, started by southlarena

    http://www.philippines.com.au/mirror/forums/display_topic/id_8608#r208180/

eto daw yung mga docs required.

Documents needed for an ACS assessment

    1. A completed application form
    2. Identification information
    3. Evidence to support the application
    4. Payment of required fee

Must support all claims by submitting certified or notarized copies of the following:

Birth certificate (from NSO) or passport
    Degree Diploma / Certificate
TOR (Transcript of Records) - A legend explaining the grading system must be included!!!
COE (Certificate of Employment) / Employer Reference Letter

hope may makapag share ng experience nila in submitting their application sa ACS.
    =====================================

Hi Peeps, I'm a newbie and I hope you can help me. As of the moment, I'm collating all required docs by ACS but I just have a cheap question with regard to Birth Cert and some Certification...

    1. For the Birth Cert, I believe ACS needed Certified True Copy... What if your BC comes from NSO already? Do you still need to have if Certified? If yes, where? BC coming from NSO is already printed on security paper right?

    2. I have a certification from IBM as ---Certified System Administrator... Where can I have this Certified True Copied? Because this came from IBM and the exam site/training institute where I took the exams is not doing the CTC from their end.

Thanks guys in advance... Appreciate it much...

try ko pa sagutan mga tanong nyo
    1. Do not submit original docs to ACS, have it photocopied then CTC. You can still use the original unless you really want to submit an original copy. This is not advisable as ACS will not return your documents. Also note that DIAC will also request evidence docs, so if you only have 1 copy have it CTC'd
    2. If you have the original document have it photocopied then have it CTC'd by a notary public or a commissioner of oaths. CTC's should include the name and contact of the certifier

Sa mga naghihintay ng ACS results, better start collecting na yung mga documents for applying for the visa itself, since posible na manghingi ang CO ng iba pang proof of employment aside from yung sinubmit niyo sa ACS. So start collecting the following

    1. All your payslips, o lahat ng payslips na naitabi niyo
    2. Employment letters with dates, mas maganda kung may salary details
    3. BIR 2316 or tax returns per year
    4. Kung wala na kayong mga ganitong papers, you can get a summary of your past transactions sa bank. For example sa BPI, they keep records for the last 7 years. It takes 15 days for BPI to mail back your past transaction records pero pwede niyo na itong simulan ngayon especially kung wala na kayong naitabing proof of your past employment history

Reply to @batobats: Thanks for the reply batobats... So for the BC from NSO, pwede na itong submit since wala naman na atang mag Certify nito since it is printed on Security Paper ng NSO right? And nag eexpire naman every 6 months yung mga BC coming from NSO eh..

For the other certificate, so notary nalang siguro itong mga ito... kelangan ba may contact numbers pa sa pag tatak ng CTC? If may letter head na ng school or company, OK na yon right?

    thanks again...

Anyone knows about this? Hindi ko kasi sure kung ang BC galing NSO will serve as Certified True Copy na eh, kasi printed na sya on security paper....

Anyways, as per latest of ACS, they will not be needing any physical documentation after applying online... Here is the link:

    https://www.acs.org.au/index.cfm?action=load&temID=noticedetails&notID=1150

So lahat PDF/scanned copy nalang lahat then submit online...
