@PLAC, yan ba yung straight flight MLA to Darwin?

nope, its MLA-SINGAPORE-MELBOURNE wala syang kasamang food, but we have enough time in Singapore to have our dinner coz it will leave Changi airport at 9pm pa. So bale sleep talaga kami on board, and will arrive melbourne by 640am the next day...
Few cheap Jetstar flights coming up it seems. My friend booked a return flight Syd-Darwin-Manila-Darwin-Sydney for only $447. This is phenomenal price, even beating my November Jetstar rate by around $10. I so wish I could go.

Ok po ba sa jetstar? Sana po may makapagbigay ng feedbacks about this airline. Mura nga yung mga fares nila as i have seen in their website. Yung murang rates nila di included yung meals dun diba?
“We can make our own plans, but the LORD gives the right answer.”
I can't understand Tagalog very much, but it seems you may be refering to meals. No, Jetstar does not provide them as part of the deal, but you can pay offensively high prices to get them or drinks. However - if your saving around $500 over PAL or Qantas, I'm happy to wait for Darwin each way :-)

hi guys, let's try our best to reply in English for our new member Manila_Sunset_Store. Let's make him feel at home here in pinoyau.info
@Manila_sunset_store : k_mavs was asking for feedback on Jetstar, as he saw in their websites that fares are fairly cheap. yup you're right on k_mavs' 2nd question, he was asking whether meals are in

Jetstar is Qantas' low-budget airline so it's pretty credible

@LokiJr So i think that its also ok to avail of the services of this airline.

Personally, I would not fly to Sydney via Darwin though...Para bang, I'm off to a different continent might as well stop over to Singapore or Hong Kong and have some fun too haha

Hmmm same here @LokiJr, parang ayoko din dumaan sa Darwin, lalabas ka sa international airport nyan tas papasok sa domestic na airport, d rin ata sila nag cacater ng free na lipat ng baggage from int'l flights to domestic. dapat ikaw ang mag bitbit ng mga gamit sa pag lipat ng airport.
tinitingnan namin cathay, been flying with them ever since basta international, maganda ang plane nila, tig isa ang tv. hehe plus meron silang discount sa mga first time migrants + additional baggage allowance, pwedeng icheck in through sydney ang baggage from manila.

Had to book a customer on an emergency flight yesterday. Cheapest was QANTAS at $890 return, although would rather have gone on PAL for an extra $50. Strange thing is that PAL won't let you book same day, where as QANTAS will. The ironic thing is that Jetstar was far more expensive than both on the days he needed. Pays to shop around thats for sure.

So does it mean we have to collect our luggage at Darwin and check-in again?
Kumusta pala yung flight shedule ng Jetstar? on time ba sila or palaging delayed from Manila?

@apc, jetstar carries the Qantas brand (in a way) so hindi yan basta basta nadedelay....pero dahil palpak yung airports natin, lahat ng eroplano (saan mang bansa siya galing) nadedelay pag galing Pinas hehehe
Reply to @aldousnow: san po pwede kontakin yung IOM may address po ba kayo or phone number?

tanong ko lang po....talaga po bang mas mura magbook ng one-way ticket to oz via IOM? nakalagay kasi dun sa visa grant letter...pag thru IOM magbook...meron daw "special reduced one-way economy fare" at "more generous baggage allowance". meron na po ba dito na nakasubok na?

ako po nagpabook via qantas, special rate daw for 1st time immigrants yung binigay sa akin so yung 2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant costs 93k, manila to cairns queensland, stop over sa brisbane. Sa iba kong nakita na rate, the fare for that route costs 100k+
