    puwede ka naman sumubok ngayon cel...pa skill assessment ka...kung positive ang results then IELTS naman isunod mo...bata ka naman kaya hindi ka mahihirapan sa points :)

    @ CELL ano ba work mo,i mean pag food process bah,,Q.A ka sa production or when you say plant documantation anong ibig sabihin nyan//?anong di dodocument mo....ako kc galing din ako sa food industry,as a machine operator pero na asses as profeesional engineer at hindi pa ako licensed...ang sa iyo bka pwede yan,very challenging yan..meyron nga teacher sa kabilang forum naaases na professional engineer yung teacher niya ang ginamit niya...or dba may visa nman sa mga graduates na u.p na pwedeng mag apply sa Aust. baka pwede ka nyan?..

    @Cel - hindi nmn title ang mahalaga.. just make sure na sakto ang job description.. if you see may nakalgay na alterative title: Quality Facilitator..

    dahil food industry nmn ang work mo.. which is related sa mga chemicals/chemistry.. i guess pwede ang both na categories (chem engr or quality facilitator).. tingnan mo na lang mabuti kung saan ka mas malapit..

    also consider din kung alin ang mas okay... Chem Eng (SOL1), Quality Assurance (SOL2)...
    at kung may specific state na interested ka.. check mo mga SOL ng state na un..

    @donking.. medyo pareho ang line of work natin.. kailangan lang tyaga hanap ng work..
    marami nmn opening.. iba lang ang title ng jobs, but i'd say if medyo pareho nmn ang skills na hanap at may experience ka nmn applyan mo na rin.. ;)

    kamusta pala mga job hunting nyo? share ko lang po, its not that really easy to get a job sipag at tiyaga talaga ang kelangan and of course prayers. Kahit for entry level and the same position that you have in the philippines pahirapan pa dn. Godbless po sa lahat ng job seekers na nandito napo sa OZ. =)

    my fiancee' got her job in less than 2 weeks. and since mag start kami mag apply, araw araw may interview xa, minsan pa nga twice a day, ganun ka in demand ang hair dressing/beauty therapist jobs dito. ako wala pa and wala pa ding tumatawag,hahaha. though hindi pa naman ako nag seseryoso masyado kc marami pang aasikasuhin like driver's license, etc.

    @unanimous21 , baligtad talaga mundo ng developed countries kumpara sa emerging countries tulad natin. Yung mga mababa ang suweldo sa atin dito yun pa ang in demand sa Australia hehe.

    Mukha tuloy mas praktikal na pagkatapos mag-college, kumuha na lang ng TESDA course tapos apply na sa Australia hehe

    so mukhang tama ba ang Kto12 program ng DepEd?... grade 11 to 12 students can choose specialization based on their interest, according to these concentrations:
    - Academic - para sa gustong mag college
    - Technical/Vocational
    - Sports/Arts

    K to 12 should have been done a long time ago. Hindi tayo magkaka problema sa sectioning of schools kung standardized na ang lahat hehe.

    But if you are asking if will this improve our country's education, I would say 'not really'. Ganun pa rin kasi e...substandard curriculum, too many students per classroom, floods/storms affect classes, saka mindset ng mga magulang yung course na may pera ang kunin na course ng bata (without considering kung gusto nga ng bata yun)

    But going back to the topic, I hope our government puts more emphasis on technical/vocational courses tutal yun ang in demand sa ibang bansa at para makapagtrabaho na ang mga gusto na magtrabaho imbes na mag-aral ng apat na taon sa college :)

    @LokiJr , i agree or maybe because she got an 8 yrs experience in a top salon abroad and she was the exclusive hair stylist/therapist of the president and first lady of that country in her CV, i don't know. she was hired as senior staff actually. kc normally new workers will fall under apprentice level.

    Possible po ba na mag after ma-grant ng PR, mag visit lang doon ng 1 week tapos balik agad sa Pinas tapos sa Pinas maghanap ng work while nagwowowork sa Pinas?

    March 5 - ACS submitted......
    March 20 - ACS result.. Suitable (Analyst Programmer)
    March 10 - IELTS Passed!
    June 23 2012 - Sent my paper based application to Adelaide.
    June 26, 2012 - DIAC received and sent a receipt.
    August 9, 2012 - Received Medical and NBI Clearance Request.
    August 10, 2012 - Had a Medical Exam on a Panel Doctor
    August 13, 2012 - NBI Clearance application.
    August 23, 2012 - Medical Results was submitted by the Panel Doctor.
    September 2, 2012 - NBI clearance received by DIAC.

    @PogingNoypi sir may residence requirements na kailangang imeet alam ko...parang New Zealand lang kailangan ata minimum of six months stay tapos dapat hindi rin kayo matagal mawawala sa Australia para ma-retain niyo yung PR visa

    nag initial entry lang muna for few weeks.. tapos saka nag fully settle sa AU after one year...

    i guess @LokiJr is referring sa citizenship... in order for your to be citizen, kailangan 4 yrs lawful residency in AU and 12months stay prior to application of citizenship...
