Sabi ng kakilala ko, back then, they dnt need to look for work, sasabihin lang sa kakilala. sila pang pinag aagawan. Unfortunately, the situation is totally different now.

I am a NZ citizen migrating to OZ ( Melbourne) . would you be able to advise me of what is the best and fastest way for me to apply for PR ?

Reply to @bongbong: Are you applying for PR to be entitled to Australia's educational loan? Alam ko kasi NZ citizens can work in Australia indefinitely without any kind of visa. They can access the medicare except for educational loan.

Reply to @Sushigurl: I think that also goes for other countries rin, yung tipong mas favorable pa rin na nandoon ka sa country than just applying for jobs dito sa Pinas and waiting for a company to sponsor you.

Singapore is an example. 3-4 years ago rin nakipagsapalaran ang mga dati kong kaupisina in finding work sa country na yun. They didn't get to find jobs dito - they have to really spend at makitira sa kaibigan.

I am not sure in the early 2000s, baka noon din ang trabaho pa ang lumalapit.

OO nga po sana. Gusto ko kasing maging PR sa OZ e. What can you advise for me to get PR status the fastest?? We are planning to settle inOZ na kasi with my family kaya mas maganda sa mga bata kung maaccess namin lahat ng benefits.

Hi.. I would like to ask if its possible to work in Au. because I only have 1 yr work experience in IT field here in Philippines, and im 22 yrs old. and i also would like to know how much will cost of all the expenses, let's say i would get an agency. Thank you.

For General Skilled Migration visas, you would need at least 3 years of work experience to gain points for that. Minimum is 60 points before you can submit an EOI (Expression of Interest). Age and College degree also has some corresponding points. Are you applying for a points-tested visa? Some opt to get sponsorships from employers so they don't have to get the PR (permanent residency) GSM visa but those would be temporary and are employer-based.

@Sushigurl, hehe Manila pa rin ako although training under an Aussie firm right now. Andaming Australian companies sa Pinas ngayon so the chances of getting an employer to sponsor you a visa is not as impossible as we fear it is

Sa pagkakaalam ko yes... Unless someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Important kase tlga yung skills/work experience when migrating to AU...

^ there are still employers that provide permanent resident visas...pahirapan nga lang maghanap ng ganyan but they're still around

Nung umattend ako ng Immigrant Expo dito, nung nagdiscuss yung tiga Immigration, kapag ang sahod mo dito ay around 190k annually above, automatic iapply ka na kagad ng PR visa ng employer mo.

Nag-try ka din po ba mag-apply ng work na kahit di muna related sa skills mo? Kahit yung temporary lang while looking for a permanent one.

Yung mga nasa top management sa mining industry, 250 to 350K per annum. I saw some job openings in Seek with this offer. $-)

mga sir pag 7-8 yrs IT experience ka ano dapat ang asking salary? may mga sweldo kasi na + super pa or including super. may nakikita kasi ako na ang salary is 50k. masyado bang mababa?
