    Not really, may friend ako aussie na nagwowork sa ATO (tax) wala man lang daw tax benefit. Medyo loaded din sa work madalas late ang uwi.

    Yun yung huling release ng immigration, minimum of IELTS 5 na ang visa 457...pero mag-rrelease pa sila ng bagong occupation list kaya hintay hintay pa tayo :)

    Annual po yung rate... pro rata means pro-rate or proportionate kung kelan ka nagstart mag work... example June ka nagstart... so meaning for the that year, only half (june-dec) of the annual rate ang makukuha mo.. yan po ang pagkaintindi ko..

    is it easy to find part time work in sydney? thanks..

    @aldous hindi naman nya need magwork. Ayaw kasi nya ng bahay lang, also ayaw nun na binibigyan siya ng pera gusto nya siya mismo kumikita which is good pero over na. Not a usual problem for a couple. lol

    The 20 hours per week work permission is not granted so you can use it to support yourself while on a student visa. Kasi bago ka makakuha student visa, the common proof is either a relative willing to sponsor you or you need to provide enough financial capacity to support yourself while studying. So yun part time work mo talaga dun is only to help you with your expenses a bit, like food, clothes, pero not as primary source of funds. I also held a student visa in OZ years ago.

    Hindi niya nagustuhan ang Australia? Meron talaga mga tao ganun eh, kapatid ko din even though twice na nakarating sa Aus, ayaw niya yun idea na dun magstay permanently. Explain mo lang sa kanya na you need her by your side.

    @cel - what is your line of work? it is important to check if your current experience is in the SOL (skilled occupation list), and then check which assessing body will conduct your assessment..

    1 year - management trainee (planning)
    3 years - quality systems officer (plant documentation)

    San ako pede magpaqualify? Pede pa ba as chemical engineer? Please help po. Salamat in advance.
