@mast3ree Hello, I think yes. That is the case of my husband, he was just sent to US for project deployment, max of 6 months per travel. Naka accumulate sya ng more than 12 months for the last 10 years.

@key_ren hi sis, ung fingerprint card sa crame ung ginamit namin. Nakalagay sis sa FAQ na ok lang gimitin ung fingerprint card ng agency/office kung saan ka magpapafingerprint. Nung time na nagsubmit ako 6 weeks ung processing time. Mas maigsi yta ngaun, 32 calendar days base sa FBI page

For those who are asked to provide US PCC (FBI Clearance), please refer to the FBI website for an up to date process.

Below, however, is the actual process we have done for my partner's US PCC. I am based in Manila. Fingerprinting varies per country.

1. Complete the Applicant Information Form (Please download it from FBI website above).

2. Obtain a set of your fingerprints.
- You have the option to use the form in the FBI Website and print it in a standard white paper stock. <-- This is what we did. I printed it in a white paper stock, yung mejo hard compare sa bond paper. We prepared 4 copies in case magkaproblem.

- Or according to some forums, you may use the standard form used by authorized agency you are going to have your fingerprints taken.
- Have your fingerprints taken at PNP Camp Crame Crime Lab Division. Bring along with you the standard fingerprint form you downloaded and printed. The "fingerprint technician" at PNP Crime Lab is very good and accommodated. Fee is Php 200 at that time (regardless how many copies you intend). Mabait lang din siguro talaga si ate technician

3. Submit payment.
- Option 1: Via the Credit Card Form <-- This is what we did, easier.
Download and print the Credit Card Form in the FBI website. Fill up required details, make sure it is correct to avoid delays or payment processing. Inform also your CC Bank about this international transaction earlier to avoid rejection that may result to delays as well.
- Option 2: Obtain a Money Order (You may read on the site for the exact process)

4. Mail the requirements above to FBI, see summary below:
- Completed Application Information Form,
- Fingerprints specimen (in our case, we included 3 copies para sure lang na in case may isang specimen na rejected. Then I reserved 1 copy, para may reference lang na maipakita kay CO in case sobrang tumagal yung pagdating ng PCC)
- Completed Payment Form

Then waiting game begins

Our timeline:
July 18, 2014 - Fingerprint specimen completed
July 18, 2014 - Sent all required documents to FBI via DHL (Php 1,434, standard)
July 23, 2014 - Delivered to FBI
Aug 22, 2014 - FBI fee charged to my CC.

Exactly 30 calendar days of processing according to FBI website. At this stage it means, fingerprint specimen is ok.
Aug 25, 2014 - US PCC or FBI Summary Report reached the US address we put in our Application Form. You can put your actual address of residence or if you have relatives/friends in the US, delivery will be faster.

@key_ren Tanung ko lang po sa PNP Camp Crame lang po ba pwedeng magpa-finger print or meron din po ba kayang same services sa local city hall. Salamat po.

@theumlasfamily ..dre i would suggest na sa crame ka na lang.. kasi pag di marunong yung kumuha ng fingerprint mo baka ma reject pa ng FBI yan.. sayang yung time...

@multitasking Naku mukhang paghahandaan ko pa ang pag-luwas ko sa Crame. Malayo sa amin. Ano po ba ang process nila? Wala namang mahabang pila?

@theumlasfamily Hi. Punta ka lang dun sa PNP Crime Lab then may form ka na fill-up, tapos you have to pay dun sa bank within Crame lang din then go back to the Crime lab for the actual fingerprinting. Nung time namin walang pila

Hello. May question po ako in behalf sa friend ko. May case po ba na nadeny dahil sa character? Ung friend ko kasi apply sana nya ung partner nya kasama sa application nya for working visa. May case kasi sa FBI ung partner niya last 2009: Police battery, common assault, drunk in public and carrying of deadly weapon. Enough na ba un para ma deny ung application? Ty po kng may nakakaalam.

The time spent in any one country was more than 90 days

akala ko required lang kapag more than 12 months for any one country?

May previous visits ako sa US na more than 90 days pero <12mos... kailangan ko pa ba kumuha ng FBI Clearance nito?

@wizardofOz Naku same din ang concern ko sa iyo! Last Friday nag-lodge ako application then nakita ko sa Immi account na ganon ang kailangan. Sa checklist of documents kasi naka-lagay sa DIBP website, need lang if more than 12 months. Eh naka 5 months ako sa US. Hassle kasi husband ko nakapag submit na sa FBI nung Oct. 1. Eh 12 weeks pa naman processing nila ngayon so hahabol ako. Sayang pa Fedex sana sabay nalang kami nagpadala kung alam ko lang.

I suggest para sigurado, gawin na din natin itong hinihingi nila kasi yun ang naka-state sa requirements.

Nga pala yung husband mo, matagal na ba nag-apply ng visa and may CO na ba sya? Hiningan ba sya nung CO ng FBI clearance?

Hoping na lang ako na hindi na ko hingan ng magiging CO ko, pero aayusin ko pa rin yung FBI in parallel

@wizardofOz Dependent ko husband ko. Ako ang main applicant. Inaayos ko lang mga documents at pa CTC then i-attach ko na din. Yung sa FBI ng husband ko malamang December pa dadating yon. Ganun din sa akin. Ang tagal! Sana nga dumating ng mas maaga. Baka iyon pa mag-cause ng delay sa application wag naman sana.

Akala ko nga din ayos na. Sa NBI satellite office lang kami nagpa finger print kung hassle sa iyo pumunta ng Crame. Kahit nga sa city hall, yung Police Station doon, marunong din sila kumuha finger print. Pinadala namin 3 copies mamili na lang taga-FBI kung alin doon ang uubra. Tapos bago mo ipadala, i-scan mo muna pati yung resibo ng Fedex/DHL para may proof ka nag-send ka ng PCC baka hanapan ka ng CO kung matatagalan.

Also, saan kayo kumuha nung Form FD-258? Nag-print na lang ba kayo from FBI website or nag-provide ng form sa Crame?

Naku wala pong way para malaman kung ano na status ng application. I am just hoping na ang 12 weeks na sinasabi eh mapa-aga. Dati kasi 1 month lang.

Bumili lang ako ng papel na ginagamit sa calling card then print ko back to back tapos ginupit to size ko na lang. Print mo siya actual size.

Ang sinulat ko na lang kasi is "Identity Summary Request to the FBI".. okay na ba yun?

@wizardofOz Ang linagay ko naman is Immigration requirement -Australia. . Naku hindi ko alam kung ano tama. Basta impt no blank spaces na dapat may sagot.

Also, yung ibang details like "YOUR NO.", "FBI NO.", "ARMED FORCES NO.", nilagay ko "N/A".. kasi Not Applicable naman sya sa atin diba.. pang US Citizens or Workers lang ata yun?

Hi! Pina-deliver ko sa relative namin sa US. Naki-usap na lang ako na ipa-FedEx sa Manila para siguardong makakarating at ma-track ko pa status online. Mahirap na pag-ganitong importanteng documents. Ang alam ko kasi pag US to PI ang mail nila aabutin ng 2 weeks at baka i-claim pa sa post office.

May bad experience na kasi ako, hindi nakarating sa address namin sa Pinas yung letters ko from Engineers Australia

@multitasking I noticed that you already lodged your Visa application on 11/24/2012 but got your FBI clearance on 12/17/2012. Does that mean that you can submit your visa application with the FBI clearance to follow? I'm concerned with the duration of FBI clearance today (3 months), knowing that you will only be given 60 days to lodge a visa application once given an invitation. I hope you can provide some guidance. Thanks!
