hello mga pinoy Au!

we need advice po re: study and working in au

Me and my hubby decided to go to Au habang bata pa and wala pang baby. Since walang skilled na pwede for both our occupation last resort namin is student visa. I have red many forums re student visa but still we are confuse and afraid as well to pursue Au.

Ask ko lang po,
1. Mahirap po bang makahanap ng work with student visa holder wd 20 hr/week restriction but my hubby can work unlimited since masters naman kukunin ko (true ba ito??)
2. We can afford the tuition fee for 1st sem and yung pocket money namin around 250,000 Php ay utang lang so we need to find work asap. Good for ilang months kaya itong pocket money?
3. Sa Victoria Uni in Melbourne ako papasok since yun na yung pinakamura na tuition fee at $9000 . Ok po ba ang school na to?
4. I have red in many forum na racial discrimination in Melbourne is rampant based sa mga indian students (how true po ba ito).
5. We can still change the city/uni coz dpa ako ngbabayad ng Tuition fee. Any suggestion if sang city maganda for students and san mabilis makahanap ng work?
6. Lastly, pwede bang magbusiness wd student visa if d kami makahanap agad ng work like benta benta lang ng food coz I know how to bake and cook food.

Thank you in advance.

    hi Kirstinkreuk,

base s application namin ngyun...student visa rin.

1.as a student, mdali nman mkkhanap ng partime work and you r allowed to work (student 20hours per week), dependant visa ang asawa mo fulltime sya. master or degree same ang rules s hours ng trabaho...at di dpat mamili ng work as long mkksurvive s lhat ng expenses.
    2. s pocket money nman.....s pinas plang kung apply tru agent or personal application, u need to pay s english test, visa fees, medical fees, enrollment fee for ist semester 100aud +7500aud ist tuition fees, plane ticket fee.
    ung samin n tuition ee 7500aud lang 2years course MBA,mahal tlga s melbourne.kami s sydney-victoria university.
and we need sponsor to the student visa application.
    3. racial discrimination.....kahit nman san MERON....andito kami ngyun s singapore.
    4. kung me CoE n from school nkpgdeposit k n nun ng enrollment fee kya k nbigyan ng CoE.
then proceed to student visa application kn.
    5. sideline cguro pwede, un pagluluto & pgtitinda.

ng-agent b kayo? or sariling apply?

    thanks

madami ako friends na student visa, I really cant believe their stories regarding discrimination and how hard it is to find a job but that is in Sydney. For student visa sabi nila, its not what you know its who you know to have a work.

You may also want to check south australia state migration plan offlist, baka andito yung work nyo. Once nagaral ka sa SA ng 2 years they can give you a state sponsorship which is the route to 475 or 176 visa.

    ACS 262113 / Arrived in Adelaide 19/02/12
    Employment started 19/03/2012
Enjoying the land down under :)

ielts req depende yan sa Uni/school na papasukan mo and depende din sa course mo. try to search for d school n then check ur course n iealts req. If bachelor deg kukunin mo i think 6.5 ang band score, better check ap din. With regards sa work restriction that will dpend on d course n d ur visa stamp.

Congrats! Based on the employment figures in Australia, there is an abundance of part time jobs in the market (huwag lang mapili masyado hehe). For a person with a student visa, there's no problem if you take in 2 jobs at once. It's another thing if you exceed the 40 hour per 2 weeks working limit :)

Hi leymanny, better if u consult idp, mas kabisado nila yan. Ill give u some info kng ano dapat gawin base sa ginawa nmin. We used idp rin as our agent. Una, asikasuhin mo muna ung school requirements, pass mo yun, tapos wait ka ng letter of offer mo from the uni. Pag may letter of offer ka na, you can pay na for the tuition( one sem) cash un. After nun pde ka na apply for the student visa:) waiting pa rin kmi for decision, balik pa ko on monday para complete yung medical ko, i have my period kc nung nagpunta kmi, kaya kelangan ko pa bumalik. Gather mo muna mga requirements mo para sa sch application:)

@trees as what have @Wizardche_13 said IDP services are free as long as you course everything through them. From School application to enrollment and visa application.
Search their website..nandun yung mga schools that are affiliated with them, so that maka pili ka na rin, and you can tell them which school you want to go to. Arrange a meeting with their counselor or email them for enquiries.
    Goodluck!
